You are right...However it was Napalm that killed more japanese than nukes...They will follow the suit sooner or later...As of now our hands are full as far as nuke deals are concerned

Might be. They will sign it sooner or later but Japan is the only country reluctant to finalize yet while talks going on for two years. South Korea joins U.S., France, Russia, Canada, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Argentina and Namibia in entering into a bilateral nuclear co-operation agreement with India.

Why should we amend our liability clause for america only...when s.korea,russia,france don't have any problem with that..then why do they have any problem with that or they don't trust their product..if they want to do buisness with us then they have follow our terms....their should be no compromise in this front.....i mean come on yaar just to trigger growth you are ready to put people life at risk...then what did we have learned from Bhopal Gas trajedy....

First of all brother its not they who are investing its we who are buying from them...secondly Russian and French nuclear equipment companies are state controlled and their govt provide a certain amount of liability protection to them...they so don't have much problem in accepting this clause...and on the other hand U.S firm are private govt don't provide any liablity protection to them.....so they are just finding ways to escape from any liability......their are only two countries where even nuclear equipment supplier are accountable to any nuclear accident India and South Korea so in that way even south korea won't have any problem with this clause

it is good but i think this liability law issue can make a disaster now the real giants in this feild is ge and mitsubishi who can setup nuclear plants in years time but the others can take larger times what we need is quick establishments so that we can feed the sezs
