Latest report by PEW shows that in terms of Government restrictions on religious freedom Pakistan is ranked 28 whereas India is ranked 42.
Lower down the chart the rank, less the restrictions on religious freedom.
Egypt and China have the highest government restrictions on religious freedom.

The more near the top your rank is the more restrictions on religious freedom by gov't.
For example KSA is rank 5 & New Zealand rank 155.
