India’s Black hole: A bleak fate for Delhi’s vanishing children

Human trafficing is the sad reality in India.

Yes it is. Don;t be quick to dismiss there is human trafficking in Iran and the rest of the world as well. In fact, the Discovery channel recently aired a show on human trafficking in Iran, Turkey and Israel.

we are talking about the Indian black hole behind its miserable milk-ways.

human trafficking in the US is off topic way too much.

Abortion is not killing, and abortion is legal in most of the world.

If you guys had tried to control your population, then maybe our places would be reversed by now.

But today, China's development indicators are 40 years ahead of India, according to the Economist.

does better social indicators justify killing 50million female fetuses? Any way, it looks like China's record is pretty bad in this area.

Despite possibly the worst poverty in the world, Indians like Ambani still built for himself, the "most expensive house on Earth":

With 20 full-time staff members for every single floor of the building!

This is the most expensive house in the whole world.

That is one ugly building. Looks like a steel factory built in a slum city.

Why my replies are deleted but posts to which I was replying to is still there?

I didn't post anything off topic and cited valid sources unlike post of the posts made by Chinese and pakistani members.

Very good post Jayron,

Forward this post to vietnames people, chinese posters like to make fun of vietnamese women, but the figures show that the reality is quite different than what the posters want to show.

Its Funny Indians More interested in that Baluchistan Thread(about Children) and not in this one o_O

Really strange - the fact that they are not concerned about children in dehli yet falling over backwards regarding issues in Pakistan. We thank our incredible Indian friends to voice concern about our issues but we must look at this issue in dehli and suggest you guys focus on this and raise concerns with your local politicians to look into this...

its only due to Indian local government isnt really functioning, also the relatively high illiteracy rate of India play some role of what we see the result in pic1. it is no way a Malnutrition death rate superpower, its human trafficking rating is overtaken by others.

Far from it mate - im no angel. Ive been taught in the last month or two by my Indian friends not to be an angel. You guys attempt to have first class degree at that. So much concern for Pakistan and our issues - and btw we have loads, yet such an incredibly serious issue in your own land and you are not interested. xTra -we are talking about children mate - and i would like you not attempt cheap shots when innocent children issues are raised. Dont you think its ironic to have hardly any comments or is it a case head in sand over your own issues.

Rao Kumar’s 12 year old son, Ravi, and Ravi's brother Noor Ali! Hmmm...

Children going missing is a reality, as children we were warned to stay away from strangers. But hey so are my nephew and niece in the US. I'm surprised children do not go missing in Pakistan and China, they must have made tremendous progess. Congratulations.

But my Pakistani friend says atleast 8 children go missing in karachi every day, and thats not even the complete statistics. Must be a mistake, that Roshni survey.

And to that guy who brought in india's defence expenditure here, well full marks for trolling, but no marks for intelligence. LOL.

I told the police, but they always say that maybe my brother is somewhere in the park or sleeping in some temple or staying at a friend’s place,” Ravi’s brother, Noor Ali, says. ??

In Delhi alone, anywhere from 2-5,000 children go missing every year, while in India as a whole, a staggering 800,000 disappear.

Also, this number also seems funny, while calling frenetic urbanised delhi missing children capital of India, then the article goes on to claim a higher rate of missing children for rest of india??? The literate ones can do the math, the rest can continue to fake concern.

The article conveniently mentions some statements from Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA), one of the largest NGOs working on the issue, they cover about half of India. But an estimate by BBA for all of India was for about 96000 missing children a year. The estimate was published a month ago.

Why don't OPs post source of their articles? Its not Paknationalist this time, I checked.
