All of a sudden America is Pakistan's BFF once again. Spineless and gutless are the words that come to mind.



Someone should make a list of the countermeasures that Pakistanis are coming with. Such military genius, why didn't Russia think of these when designing the S-400 and why didn't China consider such counter measures before buying the S-400.

China bought the S-400 as a stop-gap until its next-generation SAM, tentatively called the HQ-2X for now, can enter service. The HQ-2X made its first launch in 2011 and, according to a few rumors, is close to entering initial service.

So, while China is unlikely to grant access to S-400 performance data to any of her allies at the moment, it is certainly possible that China will delegate the S-400 to secondary roles in the future, at which point the PAF might very well be permitted to fly against it.

‘India might not be able to defend itself from Pakistani missiles’

ISLAMABAD: A nuclear expert from Moscow says despite heavy investments in developing anti-ballistic missile systems, India may not be able to fully defend itself in a conflict from strikes by Pakistani missiles.

“Even in 10 years and with the huge budgets that India plans to spend on the development of nuclear weapons and capabilities, it is difficult to imagine it will be able to defend its territory from possible strikes from Pakistan in case of conflict,” said Petr Topychkanov, a senior researcher at the Carnegie Moscow Centre’s Non-Proliferation Programme.

Talking about ‘Non-Proliferation and Strategic Stability in South Asia: A Russian Perspective’ at the Strategic Vision Institute (SIV) which is an Islamabad-based think tank specialising in nuclear issues, Mr Topychkanov said that despite largescale cooperation between India and Israel for the development of a ballistic missile defence system and Indian efforts for acquiring S-400 defence systems from Russia, “India is very far from developing any system that could effectively defend itself from a Pakistani missile”.

On the other hand, the barrage of Tomahawks demonstrated the Pentagon’s capacity to perforate the Russian defenses in Syria, possibly showing the vulnerability of the S-400 to low-flying missiles with small radar cross-sections.


The S-400 radar probably detected the Tomahawk swarm but the firing system apparently did not attempt to hit any missiles. It is now an open question whether Moscow’s military command in Syria deliberately opted not to engage the US missiles once informed of the imminent attack or, in contrast, was unable to react.

S400 fly’s with MACH 15, and it can fire multiple intercept missiles.
What should we do , is to speed up Ababeel program with MIRVs, I think only MIRVs can challenge S400, And multi-tube cruise missiles to some extent.

S400 is not renowned for it anti - ballistic missile capabilities, but rather its ability hit aircrafts at extreme ranges.

India has bought 5 regiments of S400 Missile, Even If 2 Regiments are deployed, One each in Rajasthan and Punjab.
It will bring 80 % of Pakistani airspace within Indian SAM range and 100% percent of Pakistani airspace in detection range of S400 Radars which can detect aircrafts up to 600 KMs.

• ASELSAN KORAL EW systems are already there field deployed at the Syrian border to counter the Russian manned SAMS!!! With S-400 acquisition (before India), the Turkish folks will hone it up further!!! And, they'll take the learning curve to their own SAM systems HISAR-U!!!! At the end of the day, Pak may be able to block the Indian SAMs, while her ones may be passing through!!!
• Pak is developing the stealth FGF!!!
• Not to mention MIRV, saturated mini-drones with EW capabilities etc.

What had India acquired that Pak has failed to counter????? It's a matter of Newton's theory of induction (if true for n=1, 2, 3 etc. than true for n=i ).....

Now, think about the Indian position:

• Russia has already complained that the Indians had let some "interesting" folks have a look at their nuclear boomer leased to the IN!!!
• As per India/USA pacts, the Indian military assets need to be like eyes and ears for the US forces!!!
• It's quite difficult to travel by simultaneously putting two legs in two different boats!!!

*An Indian friend of my son was saying something interesting to him - you take only half an our in your mosque to finish the worship!!! But, it takes us hours after hours in our temples to complete worshiping!! For we have so many Gods, and if we fail to worship even one, he/she might get quite upset and curse us.
