India raises concern with UK as Pakistani group plans anti-India rally

Its just Pakistan's way of showing in its own fruitlessly stubborn fashion how they won't give up even when they've lost.
This is a direct result of when UN didn't give a $hit on the Kashmir issue, therefore the desperate attempt by Pak to salvage some of its pride.
These things(rallies) are temporary and will die down eventually; or it probably won't as long as Modi's in power. Either way it has already been proven that its futile regardless of what Pak does, UN doesn't care anymore.

. .
Modi coming to power with clear majority, economy back on track, successful Mars mission etc are giving some people across the border sleepless nights.

I dont think UK being democratic country will stop the rally. It allowed a anti China rally by Tibetans during Beijing Olympics.

Exactly, We are a democracy and any attempt by our government to prevent such protests/gathering will be met with strong resentment by our people, and this might atract even more people to come out and speak out against this. As you said, we allowed a Tibetan protests during the Beijing olympic games, so why will we stop one against India?
Thats why we are a democracy, India and other democratic countries should do the same IMO.

.
I can't see the government banning this rally. The anti Israel rallies are much more heated and yet they're still allowed to go ahead. Having said that, it's highly unlikely there will be a major turnout anyway. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

.
Indian concerns won't mean anything. UK has the best democratic system / freedom of expression. Their government can't stop even if someone wants to impose sharia in their country.

Inshallah, the sharia is for the better.

But I thought we were the bestestest of friends?

But but but India is a supa pawa and shouldn't care if 100 people protest.....

We don't ban protests against the policies of any country unless they are likely to turn violent. Weren't you just last night making a posting in favour of free speech?

.
There's a large Kashmiri community in UK. Naturally such events would take place, its not the first time anyways - only this one is said to be planned to accommodate more people. If india is such a democratic country it claims to be, it should have no issue

Then are you a supporter of Sharia in UK also.. as you are looked upon as the most democratic and free country.

A lot of Kashmiris here are very far from being pro Pakistan though.

Sharia is oppressive. Allowing Sharia is not the same as allowing a protest.

Less than 500 people will attend the "million" march.90% of them will be Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, 7% will be thoe who were born in azad kashmir , 1% would be just druggies , hippies and drinkers who just joined the protest for fun and finally, we just might see about 2% Indian Kashmiris

They tried to have a debate on Kashmir a few weeks ago in parliament. Only 30 out of 600 MPs showed up and the majority of those who did defended India. There isn't a lot of support for Pakistan's position anymore as there was during the Cold War.

.
I don't think banning this rally is a good idea. A simple question of freedom of speech and expression.

don't take it otherwise its just a drama... J&K apart from receiving all relief international and INDIAN Army's , national disastrous team, employing all resources , GOI giving Rs 2000 crore instantaneously and declaring it as National disastrous implying a lot of benefits apart from all over India donations and relief material poured in, and the upcoming democratic elections in J&K state will show the reality. I have been to Kashmir... spend a lot of time with people there... this is a malign agenda of pakistani emigrants to create a scene in a advanced and free country of Great UK and get noticed.
