India, Pakistan and the Battle for Afghanistan

Which Pashtoons are you talking about? Pashtoons are the 2nd largest ethnic in Pakistan. Theres twice the number of Pashtoons in Pakistan than there are in Afghanistan.

Read history. Real Afghans (Pashtoons) never liked hindus. india is mostly hindu. The Afghan Pashtoon heros were statue breakers and unkind to hindus, thats why Pakistan named so many missiles after the Afghan Pashtoon Muslim heros who were unkind to hindus.

Forget about Pashtoons of Pakistan for a second, we were talking about Pashtoons of Afghanistan. Secondly, India have been invaded several times from Afghanistan that is a fact, Ahmad Shah Abdali(pashtoon) invaded India, Mahmoud Ghaznavi(ethnic Turkic and spoke farsi as his first langauge), Nadir Afshar(ethnic persian/iranian) who was king of Khorasan(today Afghanistan) and Iran at that time. these 3 were the main invaders of india. but that is a long time history, what people think about india today is something different , people might like or not like india, you need to find it based on today's realities. I asked you one specific question that how can you say the Pashtoons of Afghanistan are in favour of pakistan? a reasonable logic to this claim? lastly, hope you dont use the term Real Afghans again as this is nothing but an insult to us. You are a mature and respected member of this forum and hope you dont repeat this again.

First of all Mughal emperors were neither hindus or indians.

The only time some parts of present day India had ties with Afghanistan was during the Durrani empire, but most of India never had any ties with Afghanistan. By the way, today Durrani is a very common name in Pakistan and Pakistan is hosting 3-5 million Afghan refugess.

I dont know where you got this map, the Duranis never had any influence in central asia, this is wrong. And how can you associate all the Afghans to the Duranis? I hear amazing things from you.

I second, the term "Real Afghani's" is very insulting, please refrain from using that again.

I just noticed that the map includes Delhi as a part of the Durrani Empire, which is beyond wrong. where did you even get this map ?

I think he tried to but never really stayed in Delhi, im going through the history books to check once but i am 100% sure that the way the map portrays it is completely wrong.

either way, it is not related to our topic.

That is a real piece of logical reasoning Omar. Please change your narrow perspective and you will see a better world. Pakistan and India with Kashmir won't be any different to millions of people on either side of the border but the inclination towards hatred will go a long way in restricting prosperity. The blind hate mentality and your expression gives us a good understanding of where you stand.

True lets not divert, so being an Afghani whats your point of view on the India-Pak involvement in Afghanistan ?

This situation has harmed us. our country has been a proxy battlfield for decades and pakinstan-india relations have put extra pressure on it.

Hmmm nice point really, no one seems to be thinking about Afghanistan, seems like everyone just want to pull down the other guy.

Ahmad as per you, what do you think should be done ? Do you have any suggestions in mind ? Sorry if I am asking many questions but I really want to know the other side of the coin than just Indian or Pakistani input.

do you think we would have any chance considering the fact to be being crashed by regional and international powers? suggestions, no suggestions doesnt make any difference. wish eveybody left us alone.

But dont you think the humanitarian efforts being run by both countries is also beneficial ? And the decline of the Taliban was good ? i think its more of a win-loss situation. Afghanistan gains a bit from the presence of foreign countries and also loses a bit. The initiatives being taken by India, Pakistan and the US must benefit the Afghans in some way right ? What do you think ?
