India, Pakistan and the Battle for Afghanistan

You are wrong there brother, Afghanistan has historically been very close to India. We share a very friendly and strong relationship with them. Pakistan being the closest neighbor is obviously the closest but you cannot say its ONLY Pakistan. And India is not poking its nose anywhere.

Afghanistan has historical ties with present day Pakistan. Even the founder of Afghanistan was born in Multan, which is in Punjab province of Pakistan. Afghanistan never had any ties with most of India. In fact, Afghan historical heros used to destroy hindu statues when they invaded the subcontinent and Pakistan named many missiles after those Afghan historical heros who were not so kind to hindus

Real Afghans dont like hindus, only the northern alliance (tajiks, uzbeks, and other mongloid afghan nationals) love india.

@desiman don't spam the thread, just highlight the points and past the site. That would be enough for discussion.

Oh Come on yar Afghanistan is like our Client state or Fifth Province.Indian's should not waste their energies in Afghanistan because Ultimately Pakistan has the game.

I urge you to go to Every village and street of Afghanistan to see what people say there about Pakistan.

First of all you must figure out who you call "Real Afghans" as that is a very vague description. An Afghani is an Afghani, no one is less that the other. Afghanistan has had historical ties with India going back to the ancient times. Akbar routinely drew from the courts in Herat (now Afghanistan), and many other kings specially in the northern Punjab have had very close relationship with the Afghani’s. The Afghanis continue to find India a top designation to immigrate to. A huge Afghan community in South Delhi as well as other parts of India is testament to that. Again i am not saying that Pakistan is not close, but do not write off India like that also. Keep in mind India/Bharat/Hindustan has always been in existence alongside Afghanistan unlike Pakistan.

Ok they do not like us, so let them say no to us what is Pakistan's problem? Every country has the right to make friends, so does we have our rights.

It looks like in your equation the Pashoons are not included. What makes you say that the Pashtoons are in favour of Pakistan? any logical explanation for that? Secondly, NA was a military/political force which was opposed to the Taliban rule. It included Tajiks, Pashtoons, Hazaras, Uzbeks etc.

First of all Mughal emperors were neither hindus or indians.

The only time some parts of present day India had ties with Afghanistan was during the Durrani empire, but most of India never had any ties with Afghanistan. By the way, today Durrani is a very common name in Pakistan and Pakistan is hosting 3-5 million Afghan refugess.

Mughals where Hindustanis as quoted by Jahangir and Akbar himself. In modern day that would equal to them being Indian. I hope just because they were Muslim your not calling them Indian. Being a muslim does not anywhere say that you cannot be part of Hindustan. Please go search the Asoka, Gupta etc empire, they were all present in the present day Afghanistan.

Which Pashtoons are you talking about? Pashtoons are the 2nd largest ethnic in Pakistan. Theres twice the number of Pashtoons in Pakistan than there are in Afghanistan.

Read history. Real Afghans (Pashtoons) never liked hindus. india is mostly hindu. The Afghan Pashtoon heros were statue breakers and unkind to hindus, thats why Pakistan named so many missiles after the Afghan Pashtoon Muslim heros who were unkind to hindus.

So which statement are you justifying omar –

1) Pastoon kings being unkind to hindu’s

2) Afghanis not being real Pastoons

3) Only pastoon’s are “real Afghani’s “

Brother you are hitting on too many points and not elaborating on any.
