US Secretary of State John Kerry although not straightforwardly acknowledging it in public, took Modi to task with “hard confirmation” of India’s proceeding with backing of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its boss Mullah Fazlullah in Afghanistan.

the whole report that was first published in the daily mail alleged that “The atmosphere in the room after Kerry and Modi had lunch together, changed when Premier Modi very blatantly stated that he and his government so shocked to hear about the Peshawar School Terror that the schools and both the houses of the Parliament observed moment of silence to mourn the Peshawar School Terror and thus there could be no Indian hand involved in it.”

The daily mail report further stated that the American side responded ferociously on this & showed some hard evidence of indian patronage of the TTP as well the established links of the indian RAW and the TTP .

The fact exists that Afghanistan has never been friendly since the inception of the pakistan. The throbbing matter of durand line has created an animosity that has plagued relations between the two countries.

It is said that before the Taliban and the soviet invasion, every bomb blast that happened in Pakistan was either blamed on Indian intelligence agencies or the Afghanistani Khad.

For those who don’t know the history of durand line
The Durand Line is named after foreign secretary of the colonial government of India, Sir Henry Mortimer Durand, who demarcated the frontier between British India and Afghanistan in 1893. The line was drawn after negotiations between the British government and Afghan King Abdur Rahman Khan, founder of modern Afghanistan. This line brought the tribal lands (now a part of Pakistan) under British control. Barnett R. Rubin, director of studies at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation, writes in Foreign Affairs that the British established a three-tiered border to separate their empire from Russia. The first frontier separated the areas of the Indian subcontinent under direct British administration from those areas under Pashtun control (today this line divides those areas administered by the Pakistani state from the FATA). The second frontier, the Durand Line, divided the Pashtun tribal areas from the territories under Afghanistan’s administration. This now forms the international border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The outer frontier, Afghanistan’s border with Russia, Iran, and China, demarcated the British sphere of influence.

The Pakistan side of the Durand Line border includes the provinces of Balochistan, the North West Frontier Province (NWFP), and the seven tribal agencies of the FATA. On the Afghan side, the frontier stretches from Nuristan province in the northeast to Nimruz in the southwest. The British devised a special legal structure called the Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) to rule the tribal lands and this continues to be the legal regime in the FATA today.[1]

Although the Durand line is the recognized international border Between the Pakistan and the Afghanistan in the eyes of the world, the Afghanistan still doesn’t accept this as official border and even the afghan taliban refused to acknowledge durand line as the legitimate line of separation between pakistan and afghanistan.

Mutual antipathy to Pakistan quickly brought India and Afghanistan together as natural allies
Pakistan hostility with india begun with the start of the kashmir conflict in 1947 i.e just a few weeks after independence. it was on 22 October 1947 when Muslim tribal militias crossed the border of the state into the kashmir that later resulted in the first kashmir war between india and Pakistan in this war Pakistan was able to acquire roughly two-fifths of Kashmir, including five of the fourteen eight thousanders peaks of the world, while India maintained the remaining three fifths of Kashmir, including the most populous and fertile regions. the disputed area Between the india and pakistan resulted in the sand turning red at least 4 times from 1947 to to the kargil skirmish Not to mention the countless proxy wars that resulted in thousands dead and several injured in the course of decades.

Afghanistan also had an uneasy association with the pakistan. Afghanistan alone apposed Pakistani enrollment in the UN in 1947.

Afghan pioneers had never acknowledged the Durand line that the British attracted 1893 and, after Partition, Afghanistan was not going to perceive that line as its outskirt with Pakistan. The Afghan rulers wanted to reclaim Peshawar, in a valley at the eastern end of the Khyber Pass.Even now Afghans look on Peshawar as a lost Afghan city.

in 1950 the two marked a friendship treaty. In the years that emulated, India and Afghanistan both endeavored to destabilize Pakistan, giving help and sanctuary to Pashtun and Baloch nationalists . In 1961 Pakistan and Afghanistan went so far as to close their outskirts and sever relations with one another.

For pakistan things took a turn for the better when taliban took over reduced the indian influence in Afghanistan, however that was short lived as war on terror started years later and once again indian side began to consolidate it influence in Afghanistan.

The fact is that right now as i am writing,we have an undeclared war that is going on with in the roads of kandahar to the corridors of kabul between India and Pakistan. The kind of war that uses the money and influence as its main ammunition, and unlike all the proxy wars that india and pakistan has fought before this one is the the most intense as this is the war that will define a new afghanistan one that is neutral to pakistan or the one that is antagonistic to pakistan.

Current Indian anti Pakistan actions
“India has always used Afghanistan as a second front against Pakistan. India has over the years beenfinancing problems in Pakistan“. US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel

up till now india has denied creating problems for pakistan from Afghanistan in the same vein as pakistan has denied creating problems and starting a proxy war in kashmir, however things are starting to dial up and some major indications of india and afghan intelligence nexus of destabilizing pakistan has started to show up . The most prominent is perhaps the capture of former TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud’s deputy Latifullah Mesud from Afghan intelligence agents. Apparently, Latifullah had been traveling back and forth across the Pak-Afghan border to coordinate attacks in Pakistan with the Afghan agents.

In 2009 American analyst and author Christine Fair said that “Having visited the Indian mission in Zahedan, Iran, I can assure you they are not issuing visas as the main activity! Moreover, India has run operations from its mission in Mazar and is likely doing so from the other consulates it has reopened in Jalalabad and Kandahar along the border. Indian officials have told me privately that they are pumping money into Baluchistan“. another analyst Laura Rozen has stated that “While the U.S. media has frequently reported on Pakistani ties to jihadi elements launching attacks in Afghanistan, it has less often mentioned that India supports insurgent forces attacking Pakistan

to whom it may concern

The fact is that pakistan is going through the worst time in the history of its existence. From stupid politicians to corrupt bureaucrat; the pakistan is riddled with the most incompetent managers that i have ever seen. With swords pointing from the outsides to mines exploding from the insides we are faced with the multi dimensional existential threats unlike ever seen before. The army is stretched thin from over exerting itself by handling not only the external security but also faced with internal security as well. we have army personnel from fata to karachi fighting an enemy that is totally unseen and hidden in the shadows among our midst,

it is at a time like this when the endgame in Afghanistan is reaching the last stages and the simple truth is that this is a do or die situation for pakistan .

If it fails at this juncture let me assure you that the results of this failure will be more devastating than the win we achieved with Taliban taking over.

India , Pakistan, US, Afganistan and Taliban, a battle of 5 armies

Afghan Army didnt Last long ... and India will never dare to put troops in Afghanistan ... even though i like India to do so :D

.
Even also India is involved, the impact and the control of US in India Gov is limited...US can show evidence, but that does not mean India will not perform the tasks that is needed to secure its own objectives...

.
you mean India , Pakistan and Taliban ? three Armies ..

America, India, Northern Alliance, Pakistan, & the Taliban. We have our Five Armies.

The Great Game, the Battle of the Five Armies?

Afghanistan needs to move on. The International Community already regards the Durand line as the International Border between Pakistan-Afghanistan. Afghanistan will never be able to put any sort of pressure on Pakistan to "renegotiate" the border.

It's a lost cause, as lost as Kashmir. The world isn't interesting and probably isn't going to be.

Pakistan began the policy of "Death by a thousand cuts" India is just returning the favor.

It took Europe, about 1,500 years to create, the European Union, a policy for no more aggression.

Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan have only about 1,430 more years to go.

Where the dickens did this piece of.... appear? Aha; in the famous "Daily Fail News" the leading yellow-rag of pakistan........ :omghaha:
Nice imagination is on display here, for instance in the alleged "description" of conversation between Modi and Kerry! So was the author of this piece of .... clearing the tables, plates and glasses in the same room?
This same "Daily Fail News" also runs articles written by a mythical blondie called 'Christina Palmer' who posesses low hanging fruits. Finally another 'creative writing' of a junkie appears on PDF.
BTW, where is that Ahmad qureshi of another "famous journal" of paksitan called "Chawanni News". Last that I know; there was a report here on PDF that he has taken employment with ISPR..... is that true? :D
