What an irony ? The biggest racist on PDF talking about racism by showing some random survey involving just a few hundred people . He has been showing that same old jpf/jpeg picture for a really long and at the same time spewing racist remarks on Indians.

PEW or Washington post... As for being racist... I hate you.. No doubt abt that.... I find Africans better than you... And u ain't just talking about race... As for the map .. Boy you come from a country where you kill your own brethren for being from low caste.. A country where you are racist towards your own kind... Your Panjabis make fun of you... You make fun of the mongoloid NE indians etc etc... So Wtf are you whining about?

Most and least racist countries

Could equally be most and least honest countries :coffee:. Surveys mean squat, how are we to know if people are simply lieing when asked a question....especially about something like racism.

But we didn't embark on a racist crusade that caused an entire wing of the country to split away now did we?

That takes the crown as far as which part of South Asia is the most racist...in practice and reality.

It depends really, if you are only talking about the weather.

Some places in the South suffer from really bad sweltering humid heat that nowadays I find quite intolerable. There are parts with very good weather however, generally the hills are quite nice and when you are on the coastal areas, there is enough breeze to make it quite pleasant generally. Big cities are quite suffocating for me however. They are still in the transition period from being heavily polluted to something more hygienic, clean and efficient for living + aesthetic like there is in the West.

However I prefer South to the North of India in general for many other reasons...people are less communal, more educated, generally more humble....and I prefer the food and culture as well.

Thats just me though of course. North India has plenty of places with their charms and intricacies as well.

lmao... What's with you ibdiabs and squat(ing)...

It's pretty stupid to say that india and Jordan are the most honest countries which accept that they are racist ... Meanwhile the entire world lied...:)

sounds funny when compared to the reality... When your own generals and your PM brag about supporting, sheltering and creating an insurgency in the region ? Agartala conspiracy etc etc...

Truth lies in between somewhere. It would only take 30% of respondents to lie to push from say the 40% bracket to 10% bracket....which isnt all that much at all. Plus how many of them actually understood the question and interpreted it correctly in the context that is presented?

The insurgency would have failed to gather any momentum had the people of Bengal not risen up against Pakistan en masse. This in turn would not have happened had Pakistan military and political circles not had such elitist and racist views on the very idea/concept of Pakistan....and then decided to enforce it violently. India only accelerated the inevitable....and saved millions of lives in the process.

Common day Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Indian is like average day person anywhere in the world....some have their prejudices and are racist....some are open and accommodating. But racist policy-making at the highest level was implemented (and backfired horribly) only by Pakistani elites.....that is the sad fact and the reality today is there for all to see.

Heh to each his own. But I agree if you stick to the coastal areas, it is quite pleasant. Some of the best beaches there for sure. Good beach food as well, I remember back in the 90s when I was a wee lad....flying kites in the summer evenings to the smell of roast corn, kebabs and shrimp fry....all made fresh by the jovial hawkers. Wash it all down with some buttermilk or lassi or lime juice or a good old yalni (tender coconut) with the feeling of fine sand between your toes. The waves were cold and fresh, and the fishermen would be coming in, chatting about the catch and complaining about the prices. Then watching the sun set slowly as the seaside temple's bells chimed in the wind and the smelt of burnt sweet offerings hung in the air as the wind died down.

Yes I remember those days quite fondly...I miss them.....hopefully the beaches are just as good today as they were back then.....I will probably complain about the changes if I do go today.....just like my parents did when they compared to how it was when they were kids. The overuse of plastics and its effects on environment is one problem that is getting worse over the years. Hopefully you can find a pristine beach in your travels.

In my interactions with Indians, I have figured that South Indians do not like North Indians and vice versa.

In fact the South block Indians lead by extremists such as Ajit Devil & co are anything but mild.

Coward yes, as Gibbs pointed out, but by no means mild!
What about West pakis vs North Pakis vs South Pakis and all the pakis? Now don't tell me "With great mercy of Allah and quaid-e-Azam, our country is more united and peaceful than yours, you banya, kaffir, paleed, blah, blah"
