True talk, India like every power /country should look after it's own national interest first and foremost, any other thing comes secondary . In this regard India knows full well that the smart /intelligent /wealthy /advanced Jew's can offer India far more than any backward religious Muslim/moddle Eastern country in the Middle East can (Israel is India's second or third largest defence supplier and a major tech provider ) what can Palestine offer India?

IF one reads the OP..the point raised here is by the visit we will be "legitimizing" Israel, many of these muslim countries that you have spoken about do not recoqnise Israel. That's their lookout. For India - Israel is a legitimate country with an long running issue with Palestine.
