India : Muslim family forced to leave theatre for not standing during national anthem

That patriotism is a mask for their real agenda of Hindutva. These pests live to realize the fanatic views of Hedgewar, Savarkar, Golwalkar etc - The killing or genocide of minorities. Behind their ultra nationalist mask, there is the violent saffron terrorism that wants to control India under the Brahmin rule. World with it's focus on Islamic extremism tends to undermine Hindutva and it's scope to grow into a bigger enemy to humanity than Islamism.

Now you have finally understood

Run and hide, becuze we are coming for you .

There are certain Fundamental Duties that are prescribed by the Constitution of India .
If U don't accept them , U are going to be stripped of Ur Fundamental Rights .

Standing for the national anthem is not a fundamental duty. It is separate, but nevertheless deserving of support. Let us not confuse issues.

Bull shit..why should we play national anthem in a theatre in the first place ?……I too don't stand or never stood any time national anthem is or was played..no one has any right to force me.

Wrong Answer.

You are required to show respect to the National Anthem when its being played.

In Mumbai / Maharashtra you are required to STAND when the National Anthem is played as per the Prevention Of Insults To National Honours Act, 1971.

Failure to which can land you in prison for upto 3 years.

I am not sure about other State laws, but I am sure it some exist in some form or the other.

Bro me and church, I am a brahmin. I am not contesting the part where they are asked to stand when anthem is played, in my state no anthem is played.

Was the Anthem played everyday when you were at school ?

Then what is your problem with other states when they play the anthem ? .... I don't seem them commenting on the strange customs in your state ?

Maybe some "tolerance" is in order ?

I don't find it wrong if other state ppl find my states practices weird.

Sorry bhai, as much as I do not support and have zero sympathy and only contempt for people who disrespect Indian flag, anthem etc...(or for that matter people worldwide who do it for whatever country they are from/in).... We cannot strip them of their fundamental rights unless they cross the line of causing physical violence and direct harm.

Yes they can be shown the door as the rest of the people among them have done....they can be booked and prosecuted (within reason).....but their fundamental rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness cannot be taken away from them for them being anti-national peacefully.

I think you got it wrong. It is every individual's right to refuse to honour the national flag, or the national anthem. It is equally the right of the management of any institution to refuse admission to, or to expel any person from its premises for failing to observe the house rules.

What YOU feel and WHY you feel what you feel is not the question here.

Maharashtra state has made laws and practices in its best interest based on its existing environment and need. So when you comment on other states without know anything about them, YOU come across as an intolerant opinionated jerk.
