India missile test to start arms race: Pakistan

Hang on a minute don't we make our own subs ?

Dear Friend,

It is not making the sub which is hard but making a nuclear power plant which is small enough to be fitted on a Sub. The Indians were stuck at that juncture for years till they got some friendly but illegal help from Russia.

Lets us see how good they have mastered it when the ATV is launched. In this area Pakistan is years behind as any naval retired officer will tell you in Pakistan. UK is supplying DSRV technology to India and a deal will be signed soon.

Regards

Pakistan may be years behind in terms of developing something from scratch, but when has that ever stopped Pakistan from gaining a specific type of expertise?...the focus of the three services (which essentially means crucial support from the Army and Airforce) would be to support the Navy in getting this capability. Usually in Pakistan, when this happens, somehow a solution comes about.
