These central Asian countries are rich in energy resources which India needs but due to present political scenario its a huge lose for all concerned parties.

Central Asian Economies are having a huge Accessibility Problem all thanks to Uncertainty in Afghanistan so they are moving towards China now a days because its only Available Beast for them to sell their energy bypassing Uncertain Afghanistan and have Bigger Trade with them as well in the long run. India Preposition after Bypassing Afghanistan wont going to work in this scenario as they are already increasingly becoming Chinese Backyards.

yeah, India either has to use China route or Sea, Rail, Road route thru Iran as being proposed in this agreement. @Gazi

The Pakistan's bad Afghanistan policy of supporting barbaric Talibans have given India oppurtunity to cultivate close relations with Iran and Stans of the Central Asia. Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkemenistan were opposed to the Talibans and supported Northern Alliance. Pakistan have completely lost after 9/11 and instead of rebuilding relations and learning from mistakes ISI still sympathizes with Talibans. Indian influence in Central Asia is due to the utter failure of foolish Pakistan policy in Afghanistan. Pakistan has closer historical and cultural relations with Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia that have been greatly compromised by ISI policies in Afghanistan.

It could be that after India has acknowledged the futility of involving Afghanistan and Pakistan presently.

Taliban is not entirely Enemy to Iran not anymore at least. You know when Taliban was ousted from Power one of Commander fighting alongside Taliban Gulbadin Hikmatyar Defected to Iran and took Refuge in Tehran post 9/11 Afghanistan Changes. Taliban and Iran relation may not be ideal but it isnt very bad since last few years as well Check out this link.

Currently After ISIS Begin their Activity in Afghanistan and that to by DEFECTING few of Taliban Commanders in their fold now must be considering to have some kind of relations with them covertly Of course as they know as well as us that Afghan Army is still not Effective force to deal with ISIS threat and given rivalry between Taliban and ISIS in Afghanistan provides a best opportunity for Iran to come closer to Taliban for the sack of fighting Common Enemy which is ISIS. Afghan Dynamics are Changing and in few months we wont find Afghans Blaming Pakistan because ISIS is not Pakistan's toy as they use to claim Taliban was.

How is that even Possible????Is India trying to use Chabahar all the way to Turkmenistan then to Uzbekistan and then to final Destination Tajikistan. Good Luck with that because there is sort of COLD WAR going on between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan already. Tajikistan is connected with China, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kirghistan and best possible route is from Gawadar to Chitral and then all the way to Tajikistan bypassing Wakhan Corridor Afghanistan.

Pakistan is IRRELEVANT here because now they have access through Iran but they are trying to Bypass Afghanistan to reach Tajikistan through Iran which is something quite Impossible or Ineffective thing to do because from Iran they have to reach Turkmenistan first then go to Uzbekistan after that they would be able to reach Tajikistan. do you think this makes any sense consider so many factors like Uzbekistan-Tajikistan strained Relations, Tajikistan's Bad Economic situation and most Importantly COST of Transit in such a huge route???

Whatever floats your boat. From a Pakistan's point of view, you can even use all those invisible Vedic air tunnels for the trade. Or the route via Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, China and then in to Central Asia.

We couldn't care less. We are just happy with the fact that less Indian weapons will reach all those BLA terrorists. Giving a land route to India would be a catastrophe.
