India may plan airstrikes in Muridkay

It people under occupation had to reach a boiling point at some stage. The defeat of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan illustrated the possibility of violent struggle being successful. Those events probably played a part in the change in mindset.

So a state that was doing exceedingly well economically will "reach a boiling point at some stage"?

Or was it because of the thousands of terrorists who crossed the LoC and started shooting and killing Hindus and security forces after 1989?

Do you recall the Kashmiris beat up your SSG and handed them over to Indian security forces in 1965?

Did you know J&K was one of the most peaceful states in India before 1989?

Tourist arrivals in J&K was over 7 lakh in 1988. Fell down to just a few thousands in a few years. Almost 70,000 tourists in 1989 were foreigners, now there's barely any.

Civilian and security forces fatalities inside J&K were zero in 1988, a big fat zero. There was nothing going on until Pakistan started sending terrorists over the LoC in 1989.

Wait for some time, dude. The figure will go up again. 2001 onward figures came down because Pakistan was under attack from our western side by the rogue world powers. We were then facing existential threat to our nation-state. Now that we have humiliated those powers into biting the dust, we'll refocus eastward once again. I believe this Pulwama thingy is just the beginning. Terrorist Indian soldiers have had enough time killing innocent people of occupied J&K. It's time to chase these filthy Hindu terrorists into their barracks and hunt/burn them down. We'll see what the 56" idiot can do.

The Afghans did so with outside help, not by themselves.
Even the US occupation nd now its keenness to withdraw? Pray tell me which foreign Super /sub power has been helpiing the Taliban?
Bhai when you have the will to fight only then does help come from outside. Russian withdrawal may have been with foreign connivance but the US withdrawal is not going to be. Let us give credit where it is due

Kasmir is the nuclear flashpoint.
I think technically it would be disasterous for Pak at least to trade bloomers over Kashmir. Our water comes from there and the consequences would be disasterous.

You are correct about the native will to fight being a requisite, but even now Russia is involved, as are China, Iran, India and Pakistan, in Afghanistan.

India is good teacher

We learned it from raw play book tested it in Afghanistan with USA

I think you are twisting facts. No one is involved in Afghanistan-- including Paklands in the way the US was involved in the 70s and 80s. There is moral support but no physical or material support. This is the significant difference between the 70s and now. Indian effort was also not for the purpose of coercion at least AGAINST the US and the after effects of their efforts were for Paklands rather than the US.
