India may buy more T-90Ss from Russia

What! Are you nuts! What the hek do you know about the Arjun? The russian junk is more efficient than arjun, huh what a bs!Don't talk bs about what you don't know anything.

U know better than IA?
When they order ur favourite ones they are good
and when they buy others u say corrupted? huh :-)

India should get the best tank possible instead of worry about whether the tank is domestic or foreign made. I'm certain that there is a reason Arjun was rejected again and again. Its reputation is widely know through out all the years.

Yes there was a reason... Vodka, Girls and money... DRDO was pissed-off of Army attitude and sabotaged to its machine, Every time these corrupt babu and Army men use a mole of DRDO and sabotaged the Arjuna...
In one Incident DRDO found sand in fuel tank (after failed trial)..

Then DRDO decided to teach a lesson to these son of **** . They added Black box type mechanism in one of summer trial and amazingly there was no hitch that time. Arjuna was cleared ...

there are 2 basic reason behind DRDO failure in delivery...
1. They don't provide Vodka, flesh and money to dallals...
2. Army pissing attitude, Constantly changing requirement...

Hold your horses before jumping into any conclusions, T-90s will be used mostly in the northeastern states, and Arjun is for protecting our western border coz' >50 tonnes tank is not suitable for hilly terrains.

T90 is not Tin can, Its one of the best Tank in its category.... I love Arjuna , that doesn't means I bash T90s.... Arjuna has been proved as good as (or better than) T90.. Arjuna has an edge in desert warfare, while in muddy (punjab in rainy season), Arjuna Mobility will be limited (so for M1 abaramas and other , due to there weight..)

I think Army should follow IN way and order more Arjuna than T90...

You are wrong, Arjuna is not a less potent platform, These are bastard dallals who sabotaged it.. These Son of *** put sand in Arjuna tank to sabotage its engine and get the order for T90s... They make hell lot of money as commission in T90 deal....

DRDO evaluated Arjuna themself and by third party as well, There was 1:1 comparison betwn T90 and Arjuna , and Arjuna overpowered T90s
Arjun is one of the best tanks but Army is not satisfied with that. Iam worried that why IA/IAF rejecting indigenous products.
Arjun is like Tejas and T90 is like Mig.
Each has its own capabiities but with limitations.

Dude the Arjun is good no doubt its the best we have built the army is going for the T-90 as it is versatile and can be deployed in most places ,the Arjun is one heavy tank and most bridges cant handle it there is no point in putting it in Punjab or Jammu ,it can be only used in the deserts where the IA is inducting it!!
Army is looking forward to the FMBT using Arjun as a test bed what is wrong with that Idea??
Now tell me can the LCA beet the MKI it can't do it so it is not inducted in massive numbers but is is a good tech test bed for things to come like AMCA, lets not become jingoistic and say only Indigenous products have to be inducted, besides IA,IAF,IN know what they need more than arm chair warriors!
And about changing specifications, army is right in doing that , if they keep setting the bar higher they will end up with a better tank in the long run!!!

Wrong comparison... Infact we can't compare this way... Arjuna has some limitation in muddy terrain only... Second limitation is transportation...

Its a heavy tank (which is not demerit), with better armor, firepower and electronics...

.
good news......indian army must be waiting for thye mk2 version of the arjun....till then t 90's would do no harm!!!!!!!!!!!!

.
Why buy more T-90? I thought Arjuna is claimed to be better. More kickbacks at work? Anyway, Russian tanks have performed poorly in modern wars. They have been blown up overwhelmingly by U.S. and British made tanks.

dude..the tanks nato and us blew up were not t90 but poorly maintained fourth world tanks......these tanks are world class...india is waiting for the arjun mk2 and rightly so because despite arjun being massively superior to t 90 technologically the tank weight is too much hence unsuitable for core fighting regions like punjab and rajasthan.....so the decision is right....btw with regards to kick backs i smell a rat there !!!!!!!!definitely something is up

We are no better than the Iraqis when it comes to T-72's.We use the same variant as the one which Abrams were using for target practice in Iraq. The T-72M to be specific, a monkey model which was in competition with the French AMX-40 and British Chieftain 900 and it came out to be the winner. The Russian didn't even offer the variant they were using the T-72A which is superior to the T-72M but still the T-72M came out to be the winner.

It's not the weight of the tank that counts but the power to weight ratio and nominal ground pressure, in both the above mentioned cases the Arjun is superior to the T-90S.

You misunderstood.
Arjun is developed directly and T90 has a long range development . Mk2 version will be a game changer.
Does any one know what is Mk?
Tejas Mk1
Arjun Mk2....
