India may be able to use water as weapon of war (water terrorism?)

We need a proper war with india to settle issues , Indian government is blockhead and hindu extremist mind set its not logical to reason with them, rise of extremist in Democratic elections show collective ignorance and intolerance of hindu people as whole.
If they stop our water then we have to die or jihad no other option left.

Why should you be concerned with our democratic system when your own government is routinely overthrown by the military?
Surely you can't dictate the quality of democracy in your neighbor's government when your own government doesn't meet your required standards.

The reason i have already told , water and kashmir issues are core concerns which should be solve by peace and table talks but it needs to be solved no matter what.
We don't care how much extremist and terrorist they become unless it effects us or these core issues.
Eat cow or eat its shit and urine not our concern.

Pakistan has no say in the matters of Indian Kashmir region, just like we have no say in Pakistan's part of Kashmir.
Peace talks and everything is desirable but to dictate what India can do and can't do in it's own territory is just wishful thinking. India is not gonna listen. You know this already.

Pakistan should bomb these indian dams and attack them if our water is stopped. It is better to die by fighting war with india then to die of thirst

Brother look at the map.No need to bomb any dam.In future Dreagon will control all the water.May be dreagon start the rationing of water in the future.Sindh. satluj and Brahamputra all originate from china.Technology is available if needed these rivers would be diverted easily by building a huge tunnle network.

Talk is cheap.
If you want war
Then what are you waiting for
You want to liberate Kashmir then try it .
You want to control the water flow by taking over Kashmir then try it.

You say war is necessary to achieve this then carry on .

But stop threatening and start doing

ISLAMABAD:

As India continues to build dams and hydropower projects in pursuit of acquiring capability to manipulate the flow of water, experts have warned that New Delhi may be able to use water as a weapon of war against Pakistan.

They expressed these concerns at a seminar on “Water Security and Emerging Threats in Pakistan” organised by the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) on Thursday.

The seminar brought together water experts, climatologists, specialists, government representative, students from across the country and individuals from public and private entities.

In his opening remarks at the event, Chairman CGSS Lt-Gen (retd) Muhammad Zahirul Islam said, “Water was once our biggest asset – the blood to the agricultural backbone of our economy – [but] now it is our biggest threats.”

He added, “Our dams remain empty, and there is less and less clean water to drink each year” and “this shows the amount of mismanagement and ignorance we show to this vital commodity”.

The CGSS chairman called India the biggest threat to Pakistan’s water security.

Former WAPDA chairman Shamsul Mulk presented a paper on “Political, Economic and Social Issues faced by Pakistan in Securing Water Resources”, and highlighted the importance of water resources management.

Describing proper management as mandatory, he spoke about the loopholes in the bureaucracy, hampering the implementation of various projects, and stressed the need for reforms.

Chairman Gomal Damaan Area Water Partnership Brigadier (retd) Muhammad Aslam delivered a speech on “Realistic Appraisal of Indus water Treaty”.

He said that India’s Kishanganga Hydel Project could interfere with Neelum-Jhelum Power Plant. “India, an upper riparian, is not doing responsible watershed management,” he stressed.

Vice President CGSS Babur Suhail spoke about “Growing Indian Threats to Cut Water Supply: Analysis of IWT”.

He shed light on the IWT (Indus Water Treaty), its implications for Pakistan and India as well as water terrorism and threatening statements by India to turn Pakistan into a water-scarce country.

He stated that right after the independence, there was friction on water sharing between Pakistan and India. He said the IWT is based on ‘division’ instead of ‘sharing’.

Chairman, Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) Muhammad Ashraf presented his views on water management loopholes and elaborated the essence of water for human life.

He also discussed the impact of mismanagement of water resources and its repercussions on the economy.

Further highlighting the impacts of mismanagement of water, he briefed that ground water depletion is a major cause of loss of water in Pakistan. Notably, he also gave certain precautions and offered recommendations for effective water storage in Pakistan.

the chairman of this event raised about mismanagement of water in pakistan.
He feels India can cause problems for down stream pakistan - fair enough. But India should look about its needs first.
second - its not possible to completely divert or utilize these waters before they reach pakistan. At max flow rate may reduce. focus more on managing the available water first

All credit goes to PPP, mainly to Asif Ali Zardari.
He is not even born then, why blame him

Even if you drag us to ANY damned court ; ultimately what matters
in international affairs is the Good will and image that a country has

We can always turn around and say that what ever we are doing
is because of your support to terrorism

Ever since last year ; we have simply refused all talks on IWT

Who will support you ; China which does not respect any Treaty what so ever
or USA which has many grievances against you

This issue cannot be looked at in isolation

It is directly related to the relations between two countries

You think you are the only one who can threaten with water? Think again. We got our aces too and we will pull them out once we are affected.

Also, international tribunals don't deal on the basis of politics you stupid fool. LOL You Indians are too high on cow dung. Don't confuse your daddy son relationship with the US as a norm for every dealing on the world stage. Just because the Americans are abusing you for their own gains doesn't mean that the whole world will bow to you LOL

Besides, the world already knows what Indian standing is in the world today. An intolerant nation where cow vigilantism and rape are the norm. A nation that still puts entire Africa to shame as far as mass poverty is concerned.

If image and reputation were to be the main drivers of international affairs you would have already had it your way at the ICJ.

What happened to your clout and image when Obama tried to give you a free pass at joining NSG? Wasn't it supposed to be a breeze in December last year? Even with the help of daddy America you couldn't join NSG. So much for clout and image LOL

Talk is cheap and Indians are renowned for spewing hot air.

once a senior engineer who is experienced in constructing dams said that construction of dams & irrigation projects is not the main issue, but the cost effectiveness is.

Theoretically speaking you are talking about linking of rivers from tibet to Azad Kashmir.
how cost effective can they be looking at the earthquake prone and treacherous mountains

it is said that only 30% of catchment areas of brahmaputra flows through tibet (not sure about indus). you cant divert all of it right.
the moment you start any such project, india will straight away walk out of IWT which you cant afford.

.
You better be good to us, convert. We have the power to slowly deprive your country of water and essentially choke your country to death. Building dams does not oppose IWT. Under the guise of utilizing our fair share we can construct dams continuously.
and we have the power to get rid of the species called Hindus from the world in just 2 minutes. and people with fingers on button are from us and think like us. hop you know the consequences before planning any water robbery.

May be the currently available tunnel building technology would be costly and possibly not viable but I hope in next 10-15 years state of the art technologies would be available to the world like artificial intelligence etc.

For your information China and Pakistan have started the work in this regard. China has just promised to finance and build five dams forming in the North Indus River Cascade which has a potential of producing 40,000MW of power. China is planning to invest USD 50 billion. China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) will oversee the funding. China, three Gorges Corporation – which runs the world’s largest hydroelectricity project will do consultancy and other construction related work.

After investing a huge amount of money china will make sure sufficient water availability thorough out the year without any interruption. Otherwise this huge investment will be of no use. At any stage if India tried to divert or interrupt the normal water flow then the iron hand would be used by the iron brother. At first step Sutlej will be diverted towards Indus cascade. Not a big investment just few billion dollars and then no water in Sutlej and rest you know the implications in Punjab and Haryana. China will do the entire consultancy and other construction related work and obviously the :pakistan: will pay for that.

Pakistan is agro based country and water is their life line. So for water security Pakistan will not leave any leaf unturned. Mark my words in future whenever needed water would be used as strings against India. Who will pull the strings you know very well.

Seriously congratulations Pakistan
There is something in which nobody can rival Pakistan and that is cheerleading.

Before writing think for once where does the water in these rivers actually come from?

So your AI will built tunnels though the Karakoram into Pakistan. If only pigs could fly.
