I don't see what's point for allowing India in the club ? India will join the club to spy for Western countries in the SCO.

look who is talking.........i think it was pakistan who had helped america against soviets..........evn at present scenareo its pakistan who is getting foriegn aid from america..........its pakistan who is under the influence of america since 1950..........it was pakistan who let their country to b used as CIA's spy base against soviets............and here u r talking about us spying for western countries

I think a lot of people here are overlooking the fact that the SCO (what China wants it to be at least) is first and foremost an economical organization. Militarising the SCO goes counter to China's "no military alliance" policy.
