No one said that for the other 1000 judgements when the same yardstick was applied. In any case, what do you think will happen? He'll serve 3 years and then they'll let him off. Then after 3 months they'll pick him up again on some trumped up charges and put him behind bars. Or likely they'll even make him 'disappear' altogether one day, making him leave behind some letter like 'I feel too ashamed' etc. This kind of decriminalizing is very common around our country. His goose is cooked, no matter which way you look at it. Trust me.

As per law, Judge could have allowed him to just walk free but it was public pressure which forced them to grant him highest sentence a juvenile could get, one more thing his this crime won't be recorded that means after 3 years he would have clean record.

It's high time India reduces juvenile age to 16 as per UN since in India 66% of juvenile crimes are commited by 16-18 age group adolescents.

He is not a "Kid". I can stand for this statement anywhere in this world then let juvenile court see do they still stand on same argument even knowing this. They are the real one culprits. Everyone knows that he is aged well over 18 years. But juvenile board says that Matriculation certificate is GOD's written certificate which can't be bypassed & overruled. Even the culprits mother accepted that certificate DOB is correct she not sure about this but save her child she will not speak further. And principal of the school also admitted the same.
Here I am saying in my full consciousness that DOB in my matriculation certificate is 10 December 1990 while my original DOB is 31 August 1989. In back those times in rural areas people didn't care about DOB much, so whatever teacher of school wrote on DOB, everyone accepted without recognizing the loss & gains.

And this is where this rapist took the advantage or should I say that Juvenile justice board gave the advantage by colluding the culprit. So that they can show that they are supreme in India when it comes to juvenile cases.

I would like to know that if there is any way by which this decision can be changed or not.

In US he would definitely be treated as an adult. Not only was he barely a minor but also the sheer viciousness of his actions calls for him to be treated as an adult. An adult who will be a threat to the society when released.
