Kind of off topic but …
If whatever, then certainly not.
For specifics however and according to how the intervention is carried or offered, yes quite possibly.
I or my nation make mistakes at times. I wouldn't mind being told about it and allowed to correct my ways.
Good day mate, Tay.
Introspection is good, if it is kept within the country itself.
But hyping it up in the international media is just giving a bad image. It hurts tourism, and also ends up with situations like in the OP where Indians get discriminated against.
Thank you , that is exactly many of my countrymen doesnot understand . Rape is a problem , not denying , but it is our problem , west or anybody else have no right to interfere or pretend to be a moral guide.
@nair This is what I mentioned a few days ago.
Congratulations NDTV you befriended with a foreign corporate media for publicity and we got some thing like this as reward .More will come in few days.
Those liberals in India who supported the innocent documentary .Look at this report .
Now Can I ask a general question to all members in here ?
Will you allow a neighbour to interfere in your family matters whatever it is ?

Sorry sir,I wont allow neighbours in our family even it is in case basis.People will always give much importance to privacy.
Perhaps now you can understand the intention of BBC
Not all country men Bro .But some retards in medias and some so called liberals. When our media spiked up this issue theydidnt understand what they are doing and the place of the India in World .They didnt know that entire foreigners watching every news in India .
This is what we call as Cultural attack .
Europeans tried a lot for disintegrate our resolves in past .But didnt succeded. Now lot of foreigners are attracting to our culture and Western conservatives dont like that.
Don't know what exactly you mean, but once again there is no intention of the BBC docu wrt degrading India, that's just nonsense mainly the government and the TOI made up. IF they had such an intention, they simply didn't had showed India in a way different way than it was, by pointing to the number of rapes in general, the huge number that goes unaccounted, or simply the fact how many of these rapes are gang rapes.
I find it strange that so many complain about western media, rather than looking at the problem itself, because the view of others on us was not caused by the media, but by these horrific cases that shocked India at the first place.
Banning and censoring the media is used by countries that desperately tries to hide the reality, crimes against humanity, starving people, mass murder..., India as the biggest democracy in the world shouldn't follow this example, but try to tackle the problems itself in an open and forward manner!
We Indians have a long way to go, we are so naive .We jump like little kids when west endrose our veiws and sulk, when they don't, as if we have no self-regard , no identity. The folks at NDTV is one good example of it . In that respect I really envy China and Iran . The west despise them , but they know their place and take pride in that. I m losing all hope seeing the shameless reaction of some of our folks.
For Europeans and others we are always a low life. This incident just proved that
That's as silly to say as all Indian men are rapists, since it's nothing but a generalisation. You can't take the action of one person say that all Germans (around 80 millions) think the same. Anyway, my point was only wrt the docu and that it has nothing to do with the hype that was created by people that admittedly didn't even saw it.
Wrt the topic here, just heared about it and didn't checked the news so far, so can't tell what's behind it.
Dont worry. You can see a lot of report like in coming days and perhaps you also can see the inclusion of women rights in negotiations with European nations by them for their own advantage.
