the biggest difference between china and india econemy is neither GDP amount nor GDP growth.it is the structure of GDP.china has a big manufacturing while india has a big service industry.
The proportion of the three major industries:
china---10%---45%---45%---（2012）
india----20%---20%---60%---（2006）
so we can clearly see they are different econemy models
india should enlarge its manufacture industry and china has a big growth room of service industry.

Don't bring a third nation in your race. We never brag we are a fast growing economy like you do. To te modest, India's GDP is only one fifth of China's, not any thing close to " China's is more than twice of Indian economy "as the article overstated....

China has the advantage in terms of FDI investment. They were able to attract more than one trillion dollars in investment in little over a decade which went mostly into manufacturing and infrastructure. If India can get its act right and attract that kind of investment then I am sure we can be in the race too.

There is only one race that has been won by India/Scatland. The race in weapons procurement from foreign countries. While China relies only on indigeneous home grown weapons even if it is through copying, mainly due to the embargo imposed by the Western racists, India relies on importation from the West and Israel.
