Pakistan has urged the United Nations to take notice of Indian attempts to bring demographic changes in occupied Kashmir.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Foreign Affairs advisor Sartaj Aziz has specifically pointed out the issuance of permanent residence certificates to non-residents, allotment of land to retired Indian army personnel, and issuance of land to non-Kashmiris in the occupied territory.

Sartaj Aziz also mentioned the establishment of separate townships for Kashmiri pundits and settlement of West Pakistan refugees to convert Muslim majority of the valley into a minority and preempt the results of the UN-administered plebiscite.

The adviser said non-implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions is leading to a grave human tragedy in occupied Kashmir.

He said implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions is the only way to end the immense sufferings of millions of Kashmiris and bring peace and stability to South Asia.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi has forwarded the letter of Aziz to the world body.

How I wish some Govt in New Delhi would do this.

Meanwhile, Aziz is ranting.

Well if I were a Bharati strategist this is exactly what I would. Being in your own people and over time it would become their land.

So claims Pakistan... that has moved more than a Million Pakistani Punjabis to P0K..

This Sartaj is foolishly giving Indians great Ideas :-)

Till date, India was keeping Article 370 Sacrosanct. Non Kashmiris were not allowed to purchase property in Kashmir.

I seriously hope that the words of Sartaj becomes true. Let's learn from what Hans did in Tibet. Make Kashmiri mullahs listen to "Tu lagaa le lu jab lipistik" :woot::woot:

Permanent residence doesnt give u a right to vote idiots.. I hope bhaiyaas move there temporarily to work and start counter protests to quell those... :P

I will support this. Government has to change the demographics of Kashmir. Then only peace will return permanently.

Move in millions of Sikhs Punjabis and hindus

Change the face of the valley in one generation

Easy

Oh! How I wish to see this happen in my lifetime. First the genocide affected Kashmiri Pundits should be accommodated back in their rightful homes. Then we must go to China & take advice from them on how they settled so many Han in Xinjiang. :china:
