India is buying Sri Lanka's second-largest airport despite it only handling a dozen passengers a day

Come on, why are you running away from a decent debate. I am open to different analysis and ideas. Why so desperate to prove India is not a cow getting milked?:rofl::rofl:

I told you , we can't have any base without SL consent, the same applies to India. Remember your last wild card the Tamil tigers had been eliminated with our funding and help.:enjoy:

Good luck with running the world's emptiest airport bhai.:D

P/s: stop copying my supa powa tagline for India. Can you look for another one?

Why would I help you reduce your supppa powwa cheena butt hurt ?

I am enjoying your reaction on seeing the airport slip away into Indian hands

So ? :cheesy:

How does that matter ?

We wanted that airport with such proximity to a chinese run port and we got it

LOL at your Epic Butt Hurt.

Ok....whatever suits you. You are the holy cow anyway. Everybody milks India.

Most of India's investments abroad are just a reaction to China's investment...just a wanna be attitude

If they had some strategic thinking we wouldn't be in South Asia in the first place. Why do you think all her neighbors want to cooperate with us? These geniuses take over a loss making airport and conclude the same about a strategic port which we just took over.

You mean like the fact that we now have an logistical agreement signed with Japan and south korea and Japan and VIetnam and Singapore that gives us access to their ports and into the south china sea ?

Since when do you have a logistical agreement with SK, Japan and Vietnam? You only have one agreement with Singapore, but you still need their permission to dock. Once you dock, they service your ships and earn hard cash. That is the function of Singapore since time immemorial, as a service port.:enjoy:

Its called LEMOA that gives us access to all the ports which has American bases and that includes south korea and Japan

This is our base in Vietnam.

No specially permission is required in singapore, just the usual request and approval. Too bad they have not extended the same to china

Come to think of it, even SL has not extend that to china. LOL.

Do you even know what LEMOA is?

While it is an enabling agreement, LEMOA does not make logistical support automatic or obligatory for either party, the Minister and the Secretary said. LEMOA does not involve allowing military bases either, they noted. Each case will require individual clearance. The services or supplies accessed will be on a reimbursable basis as per the new pact.

It means on a case by case basis, US would or would not allow Indian Navy to get logistical support. And it only covers US operated facilities. That's why you had to sign another agreement with Singapore, even then it is also based on their permission. How does request and approve not equate to asking for permission. Are you having another episode of SUPA POWA attack? You do not have a base in Vietnam btw.

SL has a LEMOA? :rofl:Did we even requested such an agreement, SL is a sovereign nation, if they give us permission we dock, we are not a SUPA POWA. So why doesn't SL sign such an agreement with you?

whats stopping china from making another airport or even another air strip to meet its needs.

If they are not going to offer us logistical support, why did they sign the agreement ? :cheesy:

Every logistical agreement are subject to approval. So what ?

But fact is without that agreement, there is no logistical support. Even with permission.

LOL at your butt hurt.

As for Vietnam, the Vietnamese govt. has already offered us the the port of Nha Trang on the South China Sea with line-of-sight on Hainan Island for the Indian Navy’s exclusive use.

So far, its India that has said no. But that will change in the future.

Its called the Government of Sri Lanka

dumbass the same government has handed over the bigger project the port to China for 100 years

Yup, they have handed over the loss making and EMPTY port to the chinese for 99 years so that they can keep pouring in money and chase a fools errand.

Meanwhile they still control the port security and nothing can move in or out without their permission :cheesy:
