The foreign minister should say, in light of climate change and its disastrous impact on Pakistan, I would not like to burn jet fuel needlessly and will participate with a video link. That will show his sincerity and concern for climate change and also save foreign exchange when the nation's finances are in dire straits. Not knowing anything about SCO, I will make a confident prediction that it will be yet another gabfest and nothing good will come out of it. May be the foreign minister will say something vitriolic angering his hosts or vice versa. Best to stay home and concentrate on reviving the economy.
