India, Indonesia agree on defence cooperation

Well, as an Indonesian, I don't see any problem agreeing cooperations with India, as long as it doesn't threaten our national interests. Anyway, Indonesia and India have a long partnership history since thousand years ago, those ancient Indonesian kingdoms were doing well with Indian kingdoms, why can't Indonesia and India rewrite the same thing now? Moreover, India and Indonesia have no military alliance, and don't see each other as enemies too, why making this "cooperation" between India and Indonesia be a problem?
