Please have a read through the link...states quite clearly that no such thing exists..

It seems that Gen Rawat must have known that mere whisper of the cold start will have Pakistanis running around like headless chickens...and Pakistanis didn't dissapoint with their reactions either.

Keep building up that imaginary boogeyman, all we can do is watch the entertainment from the sidelines and enjoy the pop corn!

The Hindu
, an Indian newspaper, is acknowledging Cold Start in January 2017. :enjoy:

Your article is from September 2010. You are living in the past. :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

Funny thing is that Pakistanis plan to use this on their own lands to stop an "impending invasion"...hell indeed!

It's like cutting your nose off to spite your face!
But hey, you guys never were a bright bunch to begin with...It's not your fault!

Stated reasons only.

Once hostilities break out, Nasr will be falling inside Indian borders.

How about we just give you a read from your source posted instead to bring you up to speed:

More importantly, was Gen. Rawat given political authorisation to speak on the matter by the government or was he speaking too loosely? Cold Start’s status has been murky in part due to the fact that it is an army concept that has never publicly received approval from the country’s political leadership.

Again as I said, I think Pakistanis have been trolled by sly Mr. Rawat for shits and giggles...

And then I realized that this is not a new phenomenon...It seems Pakistanis have been soiling themselves silly to the idea of "cold start" since 2009!! Maybe longer...who knows...its quite the riot you see!

Hahaha..Love it!
So you will use the smallest tactical nuke in your arsenal to attack India, while giving India a free pass/excuse to use our strategic Ballistic nuclear missiles on Pakistan?!!
Yikes!! It seems that fear has killed brain cells in Pakistanis...

This is what soiling yourself looks like:

Indian armed forces is far from a lean and mean fighting force, but the same can also be said of the Pakistani armed forces. Both are not world leading militaries.
But with economic growth and prosperity, I presume that in the future the Indian military will reduce in numbers but will be better equipped.

I didn't even bother mentioning how mere balloons are giving sleepless nights to Indian army:
  • At least three dozen balloons with abusive messages in Urdu against India were recovered by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel from various outposts along the Punjab border on Saturday.
And,
  • In January, just before Republic Day, the Indian Air Force had shot down a US-made helium balloon over Rajasthan after it had floated in from Pakistan.

The shiny 3m in diameter balloon with "Happy Birthday" written on it was flying at a height of about 25,000 feet in Jaisalmer district when it was picked up by Air Force radars.

At the time, defence officials had wondered if Pakistanis were using the innocuous balloon to check India's response time.
Indian Air Force is shooting down balloons with "Happy Birthday" written on it. And Indian defence officials think Pakistanis are using "balloon to check India's response time." Total idiots.

Patriotism aside I think india is building it capacity for CS but as for as a Threat to Pakistan, It has to go a long way, probably 10 years minimum. After having acquired assets, training and logistics, India will still need to fine tune the CS execution and enhancing its capacity to absorb Pakistani Counter Punches!
On the Other hand, Pakistan is fully aware of threat and moving quickly to enhance its own capacity not to thwart CS but also to inflict Riposte ttoo.
As a common man I have complete trust is Pakistan Ability to withstand India's Onslaught in any near future.

Another thread on the same topic...

Familiar story india can not do this that and other.

I THINK YOU PEOPLE are TRYING HARD to convince yourselves.

The major problem with India is the disparity b/w force projection and the actual power they have. When you call yourself a world power and millions of your people can't take a sh*t properly, people start to not take you seriously.

That's what's scary about India. India is still very poor and still able to have a very robust geopolitical influence.

Imagine how it would be like in just 5 years or 10 years.

We are punching above our weight class and winning.

This is what your country's been reduced to. You have to rely on pigeons for communications now.

Cold Start is India implementation of Blitzkrieg but India is no Germany..and Indians cannot team work like Germans..to think that India can make a co-ordinated land, air and sea attack is more ridiculous than Bollywood fantasy!

To have a successful blitz war..one must have sufficient numbers of war ships, submarines and naval gear to neutralize enemy defenses in a brisk single swipe attack..followed with ground invasion by troops...Therefore...India needs already....

  1. Two capable naval fleets to destroy Pakistani sea ports and defenses to impose sea denial..
  2. Massive numbers of air planes to conduct simultaneous bombing runs against vital facilities..especially runways , airports and airfields.
  3. Mass number of troop transporters for ground invasion...land and air both...
  4. And ability to open land, air and sea fronts at the same time and manage them well....
India needs none of the above, if they werent schoolboys or corrupt idiots they would know what they need, well i have a fea ideas about how they can pose a challenge to paksitan but let the rats figure out for them selves..

I don't have a dog in this fight but sounds like it will be a poorer shittier more saffronized version of the India that exists right now with increased isolation from major world powers.

Navy was not needed??? maybe u need to read ww1 and ww2 again, german navy was what keot britian contained and busy, if not for the navy invasion of france was not possible, read a little about the uboats and the hell that followed them.

US diplomatic cables revealed that PAF won't be able to sustain itself for more than a few days after war with India, also India edge in air superiority Is multiplied by poor PAF training:
Poot paf training?? Hey bozo atleast come up with lies which can be remotely believed, paf training makes it one of the best airforces in the world in terms of pilot capacity, every major airforce recognizes pakistani pilots, veteran american pilots sing priases of the prowess of pakistani pilots in contrast to thier indian counterparts who are basically jokers flying on donkeys..
