what a joke
1.8 Lakh per annum is hardly high income
I feel shame on India gov!
18,000 rupees per year, or 321 dollars per year. Thats high income?????
It totally depends on the person what he/she wants to see. Like in Hollywood movies they show poor men/women in India doing lowest type of jobs. It's true but it's not all. India is much bigger & diverse country where foreigners come to see according to their taste. Some want to see Taj in Agra, some wants to see Mumbai,J&K,Himanchal,Punjab,Rajasthan,Kerala,Bengloru etc. Each & every place is mix of poor, middle & upper income people. If a person comes from a developed country,he/she wants to see different things because they have seen all wealth & infrastructure in their own country. That is what I understand & thought to share here. Every person have different-2 perception. There is difference between perception, belief & reality. & real is what we see (wealth as well as poverty in India.I know from chinese journals India has large number of middle-class people several years ago,but from photos chinese visitors taken we can see India showing its poor, maybe streets view make Chinese feel India is backward like us.
180,000 rupees per year, or 3210 dollars per year. Thats high income?????
Also it seems odd that India counts less than 90 million households for 1.2 billion people. Per household it counts like 13 people?????
So, high income is 3210 dollars for 246 dollars per person per year?
Boss can't you read English properly. It's saying the number of high-income households in India has exceeded the number of low-income, not the total number of rich people. Get clear your facts mate. Don't spread confusion.Title MISLEADING !!!!!
The total population of India is more than 1 billion people and there is NO WAY that the country has more rich than poor !!!
If the "HYPE" of India having more rich people than poor people is true then India MUST PROVE it to the world that the total number of rich people is more than 500 million.
Its not high income. Its middle income
"The NCAER estimated that middle-income households, or those earning between Rs 45,000 and Rs 1.8 lakh per annum, rose sharply from 109.2 million to 140.7 million in the decade."
