‘India has capacity to produce hundreds of new nuclear bombs’

Thank you Sir, I lived with a Pakistani family as a paying guest for two years while i was studying in Glasgow and i have experienced first hand how wonderful you people are. All i have is very beautiful and good memories of those days, never once did they treat me as someone outside their family. So, its a bit disappointing to see both sides calling each other names and abusing in this forum.

People in general are tolerant. It is the selected few, the leaders who exploit the ignorance of our people and emotionally charge them for point scoring. Let’s be honest, for a person who do not knows better, chest thumping and promises of grandeur are addictive. That is what we see happening. However now we do have gotten to a point where a mindset have been created and some serious work needs to be done to reverse that.

Congratulations!!
You have have discovered something the Russians and Americans were not able to do in Cold War, something that US is totally clueless about when it comes to China. BRAVO!!

You are clueless about USA

India-Pakistan scenarios are easy. Pakistani based groups launch terror attack on India. India launches limited military strikes on pakistan. It escalates into nuclear war.

USA has tough task of defending allies - Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan and freedom of navigation in South China Sea
It means they have to be prepared for any scenario

.
Yes you fooled them even the whole Indian nation by declaring it success while your own nuclear scientist call it dud. now cry me a river.
You do know that we had the first nuclear explosion called "Smiling Buddha" way back 18 May 1974.Do you think we were preparing a dud all those years to explode in 1999?
It was after that 1974 test that Western countries started building these MTCR,CTBT and other what not treaties as they were scared a Non European power could develop Nuclear weapons without their assistance.

While you got a Chinese copy mailed to you from China, its known to everyone including USA.

India has a huge R&D budget, SSBNs, FBRs, it's own triad, 21 reactors (enough material to produce 1,000 bombs, as per report I provided earlier) and a part of ITER. Being a part of ITER, India undoubtedly posseses a lot of expertise in TNWs.
Tell to the International Bodies who invited us for research that the nuke was 20kt.

hmmm,
I do know a little bit but i sure cannot compete with someone getting his info directly from the oval office. :P :D and who is a wise one! :P
Oh and next time you talk to that man in office over there do share that brilliant idea of countering China with the poor guy :D

That was Russian design very old not fit to field on missiles but during operation shakti Indian tries to test small but power warheads for missiles which failed to get the planned yield.

Oh god,we had the expertise to make Nuclear bomb within a year way back in 1950's
Dr.Homi Bhabha our Nuclear Scientist when asked by Nehru how long would it take India to build a Nuclear bomb he said" 1 year".
Do you think we have not learnt anything since then? with our Cold fusion experiments and various other testing facilities and research? Not to mention our fast breeder reactor and Thorium research.

Think whatever floats your boat.it is good to know that our enemies think we do not have the capacity. That will make them overconfident and commit mistakes.:enjoy:

Like i said,Think whatever you want,i don't want to be involved in a troll match with Pakistanis.Nor am i in that mood right now to troll.Simply put we just ignore you.You can think that we dont have Nukes or whatever which makes you sleep peacefully at night.

You know nothing about our program. We used Canadian Reactor for test, not Russian. India worked out on it to make the bomb.
Similar goes for our oldest planes like Krishak, our first SLV and Ships. As economy expanded, we invested heavily in R&D and study of the projects to further develop them and catch up with the nations from this originated.
Though we lag behind China here because of poor industrial complex.
but during operation shakti Indian tries to test small but power warheads for missiles which failed to get the planned yield.
Even if it failed to some or even significant extent, India has demonstrated fusion(or partial fusion if test failed), by which it can make bigger bombs by undoing mistakes and making bigger (less efficient) hydrogen bombs. Making bigger missile engines isn't a technical challenge of India.
