Hey everyone.
India went nuclear in '98. While many see this as a landmark moment in terms of further strengthening India's defenses - there is as a equally vocal group that argues that India facilitated the militarization of the subcontinent by choosing the nuclear option.
They argue that without the nuclear umbrella - India would be able to put it superiority, in terms of conventional forces, to good use against any provocation by Pakistan. Whereas status quo, has ensured that pak's nukes have disallowed India from responding with force, despite continued provocation.
Let's have your thoughts.
I, personally, support the India's nuclear option vis-a-vis China.
