Yeah but there are limitations to this tech. It’s nothing new and the telescope can only look straight up. Can’t be tilted.

It's India's first , not the world's first. Large liquid telescopes go back as far as 1990s. What do the idiots who claim world's first think people at NASA are doing with a bigger budget?
