India gets a hold on China's Achilles heel

Poor J-10B... chances of survival against Akash missile: NIL.

Good we will be able to use J-10Bs for our target practice, in place of Lakshya PTAs.

If my history goes right then china was making these first generation missiles in 1950s not in 1960s.Thats how china was able to do great leap forward and and indians remains backward.

india remains backward because the hindu civilization was crippled by 1000 total years of rule by two foreign civilizations -- until 1947. You don't even control the Indus River Valley anymore. india being backward is totally normal and expected.

China was the unquestioned superpower of East Asia until 1820's though we suffered through 120 years of internal upheaval, foreign invasion and economic / industrial change until 1949. We are a shining example of triumph in the face of adversity.

So please stop comparing yourselves to us. It's in bad taste.

What is your problem with bad taste? Use copius amounts of Aji-no-moto, Oyster Sauce, Eel Sauce, Snake Juice, Tiger Blood and Soya Sauce in the Wok. That can make anything taste good. Problem Solved.

What is China's Achilles heel ?? the Strait of Malacca? not at all.

And you can not get a hold on that.

And even your nave is ten times stronger, still not a big deal.

Remember the long land boundary between China and India.

No we dont need a 10 times stronger navy to strangle China, in fact we have a navy smaller than PLAN.

The fact is why we prevail here is because of the obvious geographical advantage.

The bay of Bengal,Arabian sea and Indian Ocean are completely accessible to the IN backed by its air force, which in comparison to to PLAN is a far flung territory.

China never had fought a naval warfare so distant to their mainland so I also dont believe they have the required expertise in it.

While the 6000 km is just an another theater in the war.

The problem is that, its only you who think you are making some star trek generation armaments now a days.
For us, ur technology is still first generation like you made in the 60's.
Have you never heard that phrase " Is this made in China".:cheesy:

We already deployed J-10B to our Tibet airbases. Ready to flatten new delhi within 10 minutes when Supreme Leader Xi Jinping gives the command!

Now don't suggest Biological Warfare. That is proscribed by the UNO.

WRT to the news item; while its definitely a little sensationalist in its use of 'Achilles Heel', the A& N islands definitely command a major choke-pont on China's Energy Highway. Thi will be only in case of a conflict between India and China. That is not the horizon yet.

However the Chinese Strategists must have factored that into their planning.

Sinochallenged does not adhere to UN rules, he tends to megaton fart anyone he wants

'Achilles Heel' seems apt. since its their only viable supply route, the others seem to be unlikely. as far as Chinese Strategists as concerned, they probably calculated that an india vs china showdown is unlikely in the near future. their only threat hence being the US navy

And in what situaton india plan to block oil or any shipment through Malacca straight? OR s it indian answer to the fact that if india can not afford enough energy and infrstructure then india will disrrupt other progress who can well afford.
Looks like india spend too much money on some fantasy than looking after very basic electric grid. Fantasy China can very easy overcome by substituting through pipeline, gas and other alternative energy source.

"" You say what?? we're disrrupting them, what the hell is wrong with you, don't just come in here and write something if you don't know the truth,, who is building military rail lanes along the border, who is surrounding us with building navel ports, who is joining with our enemies, who is advancing into our outposts while they're empty due to heavy whether conditions, who is trying to steal our land, who is trying to start limited border srkirmish because they've their ow internal problems ha...we're just being Defensive, that is it. and if the war breaks out ofcourse IN is capable of blocking their advance into Indian Ocean, we can chock any chinese supplies that pass through Malacca...and don't be fool, ...we buy expensive ships because one stealth ship is equal to three ships of PLAN, they have so many ships than us, i order to match them( not in quantity but quality) we need stealth, like you see in the pictures,,,,,,,""" i feel so ashamed that we indians saved you people from pakistan,,,,this how you pay back... with your terrorism and supporting the aggressive nations....well so they say...""one can never bend the dog's tail"" only you can cut them off.........

Nigga, talk about your Navy i agree you're stronger than us, but no no...don't ever talk to us about AirForce you bring whatever fighter or even copied stealth you'll stand no chance with IAF, don't talk to us about dog fighting...by the time your planes take off....we'll be bombing on your suprime Leader Xi or whoever it's....you not even in the top 10 list of Best AF in the world and even with your copied stealth you'll never catch up IAF...tell Xi to go to the Bunker .......before it's too late

u seem to try to portray the indian civilization in bad light compared to the chinese. its the reverse that is true.

Lin Yutang (1895-1976) author of The Wisdom of China and India:

"Never before had China seen a religion so rich in imagery, so beautiful and captivating in ritualism and so bold in cosmological and metaphysical speculations. Like a poor beggar suddenly halting before a magnificent storehouse of precious stones of dazzling brilliancy and splendor, China was overwhelmed, baffled and overjoyed. She begged and borrowed freely from this munificent giver. The first borrowings were chiefly from the religious life of India, in which China's indebtedness to India can never be fully told."

Hu Shih, (1891-1962), Chinese philosopher in Republican China. He was ambassador to the U.S. (1938-42) and chancellor of Peking University (1946-48).

"India conquered and dominated China culturally for two thousand years without ever having to send a single soldier across her border."

Lin Yutang (1895-1976) author of The Wisdom of China and India:

"India was China's teacher in religion and imaginative literature, and the world's teacher in trignometry, quandratic equations, grammar, phonetics, Arabian Nights, animal fables, chess, as well as in philosophy, and that she inspired Boccaccio, Goethe, Herder, Schopenhauer, Emerson, and probably also old Aesop."

Amaury de Reincourt (1918 - ) was born in Orleans, France. He received his B.A. from the Sorbonne and his M.A. from the University of Algiers. He is author of several books including The American empire and The Soul of India, he wrote: " The Chinese travelers' description of life in India... reveals great admiration from all concerned for the remarkable civilization displayed under their eyes."

"India sent missionaries, China sending back pilgrims. It is a striking fact that in all relations between the two civilizations, the Chinese were always the recipient and the Indian the donor." "Indian influence prevailed over the Chinese, and for evident reasons: an undoubted cultural superiority owing to much greater philosophic and religious insight, and also to a far more flexible script."

(source: The Soul of India – by Amaury de Riencourt p 141 and 161).

regarding the what u said about "shining example of triumph in the face of adversity.", we saw that pretty well in WW2
