India Finally Stands Up To Russia's After-sales Whim

Dont mix business with friendship.

This stand by India might hurt Russia temporarily, but once this phases passes and is taken professionaly by Russia, things will be easier to deal in future with no scope of any dispute among both the countries.

you earn respect, crying like this one doesn't help.

why russia should see india as a valued customer? india can buy weapons from russia or it can just piss off. there are not many choice in the first place. e.g. how many nations are going to sell you aircraft carriers?

if you look, we Chinese are must better at managing such relationship with russia.

first of all, let's be clear: russia was/is/and will always be China's biggest threat.

we bought their MIG craps, we cloned it and export it. many customers like it.
we bought their shitty Su-27 fighters, we cloned it and upgraded it, our air force refused to take any new Su-27SK crap made in russia. Now we even fit our J-11B clone with our own engines.
we bought their S-300, let's be fair, that is a very decent system, again, we cloned it and upgrade it. now I think russians should import some HQ systems from China.

:thank_you2: the idea is simple: you just can't be nice to russians.

We already have earned our respect from the international community including China/especially China. And why the fcuk should we cry?we are done talking with the Russians and so we are issuing tenders to various companies(Russian/non-Russian) for the urgent need of spare parts!
why russia should see india as a valued customer?
The question is wrong as we are their valued ally(i.e,The current relationship is more than just a buyer-seller relationship)
india can buy weapons from russia or it can just piss off.
Nope we already have alternatives to the Russian ones(Like France,Israel,USA etc)The question is-Why are YOU pissed off? there are not many choice in the first place. e.g. how many nations are going to sell you aircraft carriers?
Again your questioning tactics is flawed! The question is-Why did Russia agree to sell A/C to us if we are not their valued customer(as you said/asked earlier)
if you look, we Chinese are must better at managing such relationship with russia.
Let's get this over with;Indians do not give a fcuk about China's relationship with Russia:hitwall:.You both are sovereign countries:frown:
first of all, let's be clear: russia was/is/and will always be China's biggest threat.
Same point as above.i.e,We do not give a Panda's Arse to your relationship with the Russians:hitwall:

Joke of the year:rofl:

Well that's your fascist strategy:flame:
Now hear me,when you post;use that pea-sized brain of yours and think whether you make any sense when you post or is your post full of nonsense. Also do not bring China into every India related discussion and also ask your reta*ded buddies to do the same. You have been banned twice and warned several times so it is below my dignity to reply to a person who has no intentions of indulging himself in a debate but on the contrary, trolls in every possible India related thread.
BTW,my answers to your questions(lol) are in bold.:smokin:

You see Russia treated China like dirt. They annexed vast chunks of China and harassed Chinese people for many centuries. They sold overpriced and inferior military hardware(s) to China while they sold state of the art Military weapons to India. However, China never complained while India kept whining about getting "over charged" !!!

.
Bad move by India...! Now Russia will be assured that India has betrayed him and now siding with USA. MKI, LCA, PAK FA and Brahmos etc may suffer now.

Evaluation has been done and India found USA's side more beneficial than Russia's so just changing sides. All reasons mentioned are crap excuses.

Well said.
During the Cold War, decisions to sell Soviet weaponry abroad had been made by the Politburo. In the post-Cold War era, the choice of where and when to sell Russian arms rested with the power-brokers of the Russian military-industrial complex. "Economics dictate the routes of trade." Some recent decisions by the Russian military - industrial complex have hurt us. This was pure economics, we understand that. Friendship has nothing to do with. What we are doing now is also guided by economics as well as reasons of reliability of a supply chain and operational readiness of critical military systems. I am sure that it will be easier to deal with Russia and all other suppliers of defense products in the future.

Now, India has one foot in the west and one foot in the Russian side and the two sides are diverging. The west will never trust India completely when India has close military cooperation with Russia. And Russia Indian relationship is now only a business relationship because India is cozy up with the west in many respects. As a result, no one would trust India with their latest technology. Russia is not trusting India with the latest technology, but only joint development because of lack of funds. Once Russia can really stand on its own, it would no share with India its latest technology. I won't be surprised that the Russian version of T-50 would be more advance than what it will provide to India as Russians would still keep some to itself. Officially, it should be transparent. But if they can screw India with money on a military sale, do you trust them with genuine technology transfer?

In Pakistan, whatever China throws at it is good but India is not one of those customers who will take what it gets. It spends the highest $s and is the largest importer and has enough choice. Russia has taught India how best to negotiate. Technology transfer was unheard of before India Russia deals and once that started to happen, India now demands ToT in literally everything it buys and also asks for offsets that is rejuvenating the defence manufacturing ecosystem.

Any business practice worth its salt is expected to consider multiple bids before it can decide on who gets the contract. This is the operating procedure of most companies. It is a way to ensure that effort is taken to ensure that competition is encouraged for sourcing. That is exactly what India has done. Let us be honest. There is always less money in legacy projects especially if it is one off maintainance or part replacement. An oppurtunity for monopoly, always breeds inefficiency.

Russia is interested in the deals India makes with it as India is to get Russian technology. Make no mistake, Indian money was/is running a cash strapped Russia. Russian economy is driven by natural resources and defence exports. India plays an important role and Russia should look at this as a wake up call.

Ah ramu is back! Nice to see you again but pretty unlike old ramu, your post is making no sense and stupid (sorry)
Firstly do not bring Pakistan into each and everything Indian. Secondly, India has for sure changed its sphere and now accepted to work under new master USA! Whatever you say but it is a reality. You can use whatever crap excuse for justify India's step but it won't hide what has been their in open.
