India eyes Pakistan for access to Afghan mine bonanza

.
its a very nice move by Indian govt. it will bring a decision out of pakistan on trade ties .chabahar port is ready and working but the road links to afghanistan are not, it will take time for realization of a complete trade route.as far kashmir is concerned it was is and will remain an integral part of India WE DONT CARE ABOUT PPL CRYING US A RIVER.

.
India may be considering this as an alternate(no Indian newspaper talked about that) as trade relations are improving because we Indians don't have problem in trading with our Arch-rivals(like China-India trade is 75 billion) but I don't think emotional religious parties will let this happen in Pakistan. In case of Transit route to North-East India we have invested both in Bangladesh and Myanmar.

First off Its not a direct trade between India and Pakistan, here you are asking for transit, both are altogether different from each other, please don't mix them. Secondly it is clearly mentioned in the article that why a transit needed so please don't present your need a favor for others.

For the Indians, the challenge of transporting the ore out of the landlocked country is an additional issue given they have no direct access.
Pakistan is the obvious route and the alternative is a longer way westwards to Iran and then shipping it through the port of Chabahar

.
Are you the govt. of Pakistan? So, when is india going to use Chabahar for transit in Afghan ore mining? whatever happened to that lolz!

i never said anything..........you on the other hand went into the conclusion that this was impossible...............by the way indian govt. is only considering this option.............but if you guys don't want business for the sake of your ego then thats surely is foolish!

.
i do not know why we bother to increase trade with pakistan, pakistan is nothing in this world no one cares about them,we should just concentrate on our growth and keep ignoring pakistan.

Yea if only you could stay of Pakistani df.

.
You cant live with Pakistan, you cannot live without Pakistan. Someone said it right, India would love to see Pakistan as a subservient low profile country accept India as the regional "daddy" but that will remain a pipe dream at best.

It is not India..it is your politician love to see Pakistan in pathetic condition...Same thing Lalu did to Bihar....

. . .
we will build this steel plant and get it out of afghan. u guys can keep crying. its soo sad that both india and china are investing billions into afghan and not in pak. india is also investing in gold mines soon.

pakistans govt is pathetic and we know how to get our work done with them. simple every thing comes with a price. we will pay it. last option is iran. we have our own port ther and iran govt is boosting trade with india. they will not dare to say no.

.
why not use transit through Pakistan and iran simultaneously. Win Win for Iran and Pakistan...We can pay !!

If you can pay than you are welcome!

You shall know.. you have backlog of 4 years!

.
I think that's how it should work, countries in the region working together rather than let others from faraway lands exploit the benefits and the differences. Of course reality isn't simple, but it's something you need to work on rather than 'jao main nahin bolti!'!

.
^^ It is not that simple!

India dose not have his birth right on Afghan minerals, neither does Afgahn warlords have any right on any inch of Afghanistan.

Its time Pakistan shall take its rightful share!!

. .
If Astan has minerals to offer...Why not exploited by the nations on this side of the world?

Does Pakistan has a say on Afghan Minerals?
