India export 250MW power to Bangladesh from July

Lack of commonsense in your part.it might have taken 2/3 years but Bangladesh would have gain freedom anyway. Even the mighty mughals could not control bangla from delli.

But the bangla definately embraced the British with open arms :omghaha:

.
Importing power from a historically hostile neighbor is epitome of lunacy but we have a lunatic regime in power anyway. The amount of money required for such import can be used to built long term gas-power plants. Typical chanakyan way to suck blood.

You wouldn't be opening your mouth to say something like that today, if India didn't step in to help your country during 1971

The usual chanakyan fart. How long do U plan to beat the same old song like a broken tap recorder? Wake up, its been more than 40 years. Bangladeshis have become very familiar with the true chanakyan face of India.

do what you can to get rid of your lunatic govt, we will continue to exploit Bangladesh, you can do nothing about it, other than shouting in the forum.

go India go..suck the money out of Bangladesh.

[this post is only for the consumption of jamathi Bangladeshi's who irrationally bark against India]

If BD pays why not?
Ask the guy living in 16 hours of power cuts. He cares a damn whether BD pays or not! What he's more bothered about is getting the darned juice flowing into his house and industry. 90% of SMEs in and around Coimbatore and other cities in TN have shut down. Thousands of workers have been left jobless.

So again, who the heck cares a squat whether BD pays or not? That's not the concern of the small industrialists and the thousands of workers who need to run their house and hearth.

Generating electricity costs money......

If a state electricity board in an act of populism fixes electricity price at uneconomical rates, thus going bankrupt, why should everyone else shoulder the burden of ruling party's bill for bribing it's voters?

If rates are economical,no state can go powerless.

Ah! excuses, excuses, excuses! That's a typical bureaucratic answer! :P

The question is: WTF are they doing about it? Sweet fu@k all! Period! Heck, wide area transmission grids now span across countries and even large portions of continents, and our yahoos can't transmit to and within comparatively tiny Tamil Nadu? The truth is our bureaucrats, politicians and TNEB honchos are nothing but a bunch of poodle fakers getting fat salaries for doing zilch!

Further, if you're talking about "power transmission losses due to distance", how about Gujarat for example? It is a power surplus state now. With installed generation capacity of over 18,900 Mw from thermal sources alone, Gujarat is the largest power generating state in the country. And, it aims to add 10,000 Mw in the next five years, to touch the 30,000 Mw generation capacity mark by 2017. No "power transmission losses due to distance" there?

And Tamil Nadu? Oh man, it's so embarrassing, I can't even put out the figures here!! :fie: It sucks! :undecided:

Blame the bad policies of state Govts.TN is not alone in this, there are a number of states who faces the similar problem. Most of the state electricity boards are bankrupt and collectively owes a staggering Rs.2 trillion to banks and financial institutions. With such a huge a debt burden how are they gonna buy power from outside let alone invest on new projects. And state Govts are not willing to raise power tariffs due to the populists policies.Tamil Nadu for eg raised its power tariff last month first time in 10 years.Same is the story for many Indian states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and for some extant Punjab.Since these state owned leviathans were technically insolvent – they were borrowing just to pay off the interest on earlier borrowings – and couldn’t even raise working capital. All because of the political interference. Now tell me how are we gonna have 24/7 power if they run these institutions like these.

For this beautiful symbol of friendship how much is the hadia we have to pay with our blood money to our friendly neighbors?

So what are you expecting? to give it for free by looking at your sweets comments about India on this forum. Go ask your friend if they will provide it free of cost to you. I have been reading your other post, I really wish I had the powers to stop this trade agreement. Why waste the energy for suc king mind, who instead of thankful is debating on our mindset.

These guys even forget the help they get in their liberal war.

And get the details knowledge about this project. It's your government who wanted this agreement to take off and again it's your government who is coming for help to India not ours.

Read the news very carefully. It says of Arunachal power production potentiality at 50,000 to 90,000MW. Tamil Nadu should wait for a few years with cash money in hand when BD will allow a part of this electricity to pass through its land to Indian national grid in west Bengal. But, do not forget to pay a handsome transit fee to BD. Make your offer sweeter by selling at least 20,000MW Arunachal electricity to BD. We pay in cash.
