What they really want to sell is the dream of an anti-china coalition and to ensure India does not join SCO.

I don't think anybody has a problem with India joining SCO, and it makes perfect sense for India to join.

Dreams that other show us bring complacency. We need to keep our head low while work towards goal. Something like China did for 20 years. We tend to get in to self congratulatory mode easily, on something minor/insignificant. India has potential, we need not do boast about it, at least not for 10 years.

i say in one decade they'll be the third biggest econom, and depending how China handles it population growth Indian will be super power in 4 decades

the point is de-nuclearize not have more countries go down that road.

India's interests will be better served being Non-Aligned as India will have to work with all be it America, Russia, China, Japan, Israel etc that too on mutually beneficial terms. India need to grow and involvement in any kind of unnecessary conflict will be detrimental for our county, our people only..

Who told you that? We definitely do not have 1 kid policy but most of the youth these days are sticking with max 2 kids.

I am Indian. NPT draws an artificial line at 1968 to include china and exclude Indian who tested in 1975

If US wants to denuclearize it can start by dismantling the 4000 Nuke you have.

India will continue to do whatever it must, irrespective of other people's opinion. That has been well established. I was only pointing out the real reasons behind the Aussie PM speech.

Is there any possibility if India join the SCO, and then we could figure out a mechanism to solve our border dispute? Russia could always serves as a communication bridge between us.
