Japan participated only one time when we start the Malabar Naval exercise , around 8 years ago .China protested ,so then we didnt invite them .
But soon after this moron act of Veto we finalised Japan's permanent presence in Malabar exercise and we began routine sailing in SCS .
Good diplomacy of China .wonderful .

The NSG was founded in response to the Indian nuclear test in May 1974 and first met in November 1975. The test demonstrated that certain non-weapons specific nuclear technology could be readily turned to weapons development.

That's the problem! Breaching the great wall of China is going to be tough as they are loathe to see India on the same plane as themselves. A rising India is anathema to them as they want to be the sole dominating power in Asia.

And then it was Nehru who refused a permanent seat in the UN Security Council for India and strongly recommended China instead. This is what India gets in return!
