India drubs Pakistan to enter semis​

Indian men’s hockey team reached the semifinals of the Asian Games after beating Pakistan 3-2 in a group B match here on Saturday.

India recorded their third consecutive win as they had beaten Hong Kong 7-0 and Bangladesh 9-0 in their previous outings.

Sandeep Singh converted two penalty corners while Dharamvir Singh scored a field goal in India’s victory.

Shakeel Abbasi and Rehan Butt scored for Pakistan. India face Japan in their last league match on Sunday and are standing on top of the table with nine points after today’s win.

I wud like to know wat Areesh want to say regardin this as acc. to him Indians are inferioir to Pakistanis in sports esp. Hockey n this was said when India demolished Pakistan in CWG 2010 now India has again beaten Pakistan that too in its second home (China)

It is such a joy for us who grew up in the late 80s and early 90s when it was heart breaking to see Pakistan's always beat us in hockey and cricket. How the tide has turned.

BTW Indian boxer amandeep singh beat Pakistani boxer 11-0 , in a completely one sided match..amandeep qualifies for the quarter final.
