As India continues it's blue sky boom, China enters the big boys club of brand name games. So China is doing these 1-off, non branded investment projects.

China is not there yet to take on the Boeing, Airbus, Mercedes and Toyotas. Cell-phones and laptops are fine, but branded solar panels or LED TV's? China must now grow qualitatively and ti's already on course on that rather then quantitatively, however that's a tough, uphill course. Good news is that population is hit peak already, so it's aging. Enter Pakistan. Pakistan will be paying Chinese pensions over the next 50 yrs., good investment by China; good for Pakistan too. China is moving in self interest; this is not an anti India move but a pro China inside deal. China's not there yet.

I didn't check but it's India's big # game is so do-able, even the Congress's old-time Shinde pulled off nearly 1 Lac MW when power minister, before he got the boot, from the media, then from the Ministry, then Congress itself gets the kick.

India is pulling off some big #'s now. Always has. More then ever before, and zooming while China peel off the a much harder, slower next level.

1. Since most of said IT & ITES work is city work and came about in the last 15-25 yrs.; the industry must have soaked up the workforce in the cities.

2. Said Lac's of Cr.'s or $ 1.5 Trillion PPP mostly end up in the 1/2-dozen cities and since this is a travel friendly, expense based Global industry rather then mill hands type of city work earlier; it explains the quiet and evolutionary buzz felt in Indian cities.

3. New airports, malls, metro networks, new 'hoods, BRT's, expressways, flyaways, pedestrian skywalks, new bus fleets, taxi fleets, schools, colleges, hospitals, restaurants, theaters and all kinds of new 'infrastructure'; amazing because India is a rural votebank democracy. City folks have little say in the political system, maybe except slum and ghetto packers.

Different kind of revolution. No wonder Indian cities are on a tear. All good, fantastic even.

Modi is probably the best choice for PM at the moment...but we need a desperate reality check with regard to where we are, what the current govt is actually doing at the ground level and what needs to be done in order to ensure good economic growth
