India Developing, but still a long way to go

people please don't ruin this wonderful thread by bringing history and Pakistan

who was more developed earlier don't make any difference today

Wot?

What u talk all nonsense, my family's been on both sides. Pak military built road infra. Fantastic.

Pls. control your bias, and don't knock ppl. at a personal level, we are not that kind of thread. Watch your manners.

DNA of Pak. & India politicians and people same-same. Only difference is Punjabi trauma on both sides was tempered in India by the huge depth of India's people and politico's. South and West upto Gujarat India today is remarkably different from north still. Facts!

Pakistan's infra is unused and meant for show off, India's infra is overused and eventhough its quality and quantity is increasing the demand too is overshooting. Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore,Chennai,Jaipur,Kolkata,Hyderabad metro are not showpieces but serious methods to answer transportation needs of these bustling metros.

My comment: The popular 'Podium' style re: perverted land exploitation rules places these projects squarely in aamchi Mumbai.

Thanks Sarthak, enjoyed pics of Pune

Its my city but still transportation issues need huge improvement. Hope the metro work gets started soon. It needs a six to eight lane ringroad immediately.

If I am not wrong-the area of the airport on the very far left is RAW's ARC complex- are ther enot some very serious security implications from the devlopment of the Aero City? The higher rooms would look directly onto some of India's most sensitive a/c/personal.
