India developing anti-satellite weapons

No, the problem is that there is no discipline in we Indians, we think we are the boss and above law. That is one main reason. We are jealous of each other. You give danda behind then you see the change how things work out. And these people who think they are the boss just Fcuk them with this danda of LAW!!! Then they will realize to be down to earth and work for the nation. Their selfishness has just caused nation to fall. I have experienced my self and due to these ***** my carrier was at stake. I have learnt it and even seen govt people very closely they are NOT AT ALL AWARE, no INTEREST in developing this nation. It is the truth.

You dont need danda of Law, you just need to bring in capitalism. In socialism, you have sirkari babus. It is easy to give them job. It is hundred fold difficult to kick them out. Same people when work in a private company, their productivity increases many fold. If people work, country would develop by itself.

capitalism cannot work alone in India since it is a system of multilingual and cultural and religious country. Sarkari babus can change if the head is strict and he himself is follower of what he says.

You would need atleast on honest man. In capitalism, money works. Money takes the spot of head you talked about. Whether the head is corrupt or not, as long as there is no output in work, the workers wont retain their jobs. In India's current system, even for the most strict/honest head, the people working under him can slack, and he can do zilch about it.

The thing is, above is applicable only to sectors which can be handed to private companies. For pure govt work, like ministries and all, enjoy the socialism.

you are right but it doesn't work every time, like socialism say all must be educated, all must have house, all must have atleast basic needs not at the cost of other's basic needs. Though there are big flaws in that system also.

In capitalism, its like a competition, you get things at the cost of other's basic needs. India need Socio- Capitalistic system.

Take out best from both.

That is short term. The productiveness of capitalism is far higher (not including east Asians/Chinese). This productivity leads to faster growth, and thus more jobs.

In socialism, people get complacent. They dont work efficiently, as their output doesnt effect their job much. Result, low productivity and low growth.

I will give you an example. Suppose your landline in India gets broken. If it is BSNL, a repairman would come after 2 days, slowly repair the line and ask for 100 Rs. He would be earning atleast 15000-20000 per month though. It it is airtel, a repairman would come within hours, politely repair the line, give you his number so that you can directly call him in case of future problem and get a faster service, all while asking nothing more than a glass of water. And he would be earning less than the BSNL guy. (happened to me!)

The people at BSNL are complacent, cause they now it is easier to pull all the hairs of your head than to get them fired.

But for that you need to have the infrastructure also. We have only service sector and IT sector and both of them are following Capitalistic model isn't it? Even in germany, USA, and other develop countries when you do the Insurance, it is known as social insurance , which is under subsidiary of government. Name any other sector which can be completely capitalized?

In western countries, it is not so difficult to fire an employe. It is simple even in their govt agencies as compared to Indian private companies. If you nitpick, even US has many elements of socialism. But that is not what I meant. Let me elaborate further.

As you said, in socialism, all must have house. And every one gets the same house regardless of his output. In capitalism, you get house if you work, and you get bigger house if you work harder/get more done. Tell me which system is better for productivity? In socialism, countries don't earn enough to give everyone a decent house. But in capitalism, people earn the house themselves, and those who can't, govt provide a basic one (welfare).

The socialist system which India adopted, was for upliftment of impoverished majority. It was based on assumption that all would work hard equally. See what it got us, 91'. Compare it to the progress made after 91'. How the poverty was reduced, and jobs were created.

Think, if HAL was a privately owned company, (which it used to be), would it still survive without giving a decent product?

Check their work culture, they would not work any different from a private organization. Once the general public get used to fast service, they would detest and complain against anything not at par.

Like 15 years ago, people would stand in queue to get a telephone connection of crappy BSNL, and it would take weeks after applying. Now, it is matter of 2 days. Any longer and you would withdraw you application. Cause you have seen the good service of others.

Even better example would be, you would complain about standing in line to pay your electricity bill, because you pay your telephone bill to a private company very conveniently. So despite dealing with a different company, you would ask for same standards. If you are getting better service in one field, others would have to improve, cause people compare.

Think of how the service of nationalized banks grew better with more private banks jumping in.

Best example. Seeing Gujarat grow, public from other states would want same growth, putting pressure on the govt!

All I meant to say, if you have more private companies with good service, people would want the govt services, even for entirely different purpose, to get better. So when a German, working in fast food restaurant and giving fast service with smiles, would complain if a govt office worker is slow and non-productive.

I am saying that , not alone socialism but Socia-Capitalism is what you need. India has tremendous potential in agriculture which should be maintained not at the cost of industries. For this only in 1991 the proposals of MNC was rejected to set up industries in India. If it was more capitalistic then a lot of agricultural and fertile land would be compromised.

Capitalism is good in its way and socialism has its own benefits. Gujrat is developing because of the mentality of Gujraths, they are different to be frank. Plus Gujrat has lots of land where Industries can be put, since it is not fertile.

Of course you should get what you deserve if you do more work, but what kind of work, that also matters.

 more day dreaming by Indians.

Oh,,, Coward communist slave is here finally to poke without knowing..... do you know already A5 have the applicability to to reach the space and destroy the sats... all we need an modified version... how long do you think it takes for us to develop....
