ISLAMABAD: India has contacted Pakistan to convey to the latter that it does not want any further escalation in the post-Uri tension between the two nuclear states.

A credible and highly influential diplomatic source confided to The News here on Friday that a top aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi contacted a key man in Islamabad to convey to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that India does not want to further escalate the tension now.

After days of warmongering, India has now realised that use of any kind of military option against Pakistan will hurt New Delhi more than Pakistan. Washington is also said to have played an important role in communicating to warmongering India to avoid getting into a military conflict with Pakistan.

The source said that the latest contact with Islamabad has been made by New Delhi after what India termed “surgical strikes” conducted across Line of Control in Azad Kashmir. Pakistan has categorically rejected the Indian claim and insisted that it was cross-border fire initiated by India but effectively responded to by the Pakistan military.

This high-level contact by India made after its so-called surgical strikes establishes the notion that the LoC violations by India on Wednesday late night were meant for local consumption and to cool down tempers in India. Within hours of the Uri attack, the Modi government and the Indian media blamed Pakistan for the attack and created war hysteria.

Pakistan believed that either the Uri attack was an Indian false flag operation like Pathankot or the Indian military site was targeted by Kashmiri freedom fighters after the Indian atrocities against the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir crossed all limits. India blamed that those attacked Uri had infiltrated from Pakistan but has shared no evidence with Islamabad so far.

Pakistan’s response after the Uri attack has been mature as Islamabad always emphasized on a negotiated solution on bilateral issues, including Kashmir. However, the Indian side has been beating the war drums.

The Uri attack timing was critical as it raised many eyebrows as after two days of the incident, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was to address the UN General Assembly session to highlight the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir where more than 100 Kashmiris have been killed and thousands injured during the last few months.

Pakistan from the day one was against any escalation of tensions on borders but the Indian government and its media created war hysteria, which led to the cross-border firing that resulted in the martyrdom of two Pakistani soldiers. There are reports about the killing of several Indian soldiers as a result of Pakistan military’s response to the Indian attack.

India claimed that it was a surgical attack, which hit a few terrorist camps on Pakistani side of LoC. India also claimed that its forces had also killed “scores of terrorists” during the so-called “surgical strikes” but the Pakistan side totally rejected these reports.

The Pakistan Army spokesman, while rejecting the Indian claim of surgical strikes, said, “There had been cross-border fire initiated and conducted by India which is [an] existential phenomenon.”

It was said by the Pakistan Army spokesman that an exchange of fire between Pakistani and Indian LoC troops began at 2:30am on Thursday and continued till 8:00am in the Bhimber, Tatapani, Kel and Lipa sectors in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

But but... India has carried SirGKal strikes.

Now believe us, because we say so. Oh yeah, and we had an airplane invented some 7000 years far long ago before Wright brothers did it.

You must believe it.

The should beg us for their soldiers and Modi should drink Nawaz's piss. Then perhaps we shall send their soldier back.

In pieces.

No buddy, since your government had officially acknowledged apprehending a soldier, you cannot do anything to him rather than (some torture) and interrogation. You will have to keep him alive. Else the world will make you understand what Geneva convention means. LOL

Army and ISPR may be supreme authorities for Pakistan citizens, but for the world it deals with elected government and responsible foreign officials. If they acknowledge the above news, they are obliged to make sure that he is safe.:lol::lol:

FYI,

"Pakistan's Ambassador to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi, while talking to Al Jazeera, confirmed that Pakistan Army has "captured an Indian soldier who was trying to enter” into Pakistani territory."

Let me tell you a story
Once there was a country with massive army who wanted to conquer its neighbour country with relatively small army. So the PM of the supa power country been telling his military to advance and attack but the army who been sitting in their bunkers and eating big chunk of the budget got lazy. So every time the PM ask the army to attack, they reply "Sir G kal " zaroor karain gay ajj mosam sahi nahi, hamari bandookain barish main geeli ho gai hain. So month passed and the PM got mad at his army. So what army did to save their Ar-e they starting firing at the other country and told their PM that they did " Sir G kal" strike to keep him happy. After that every one lived happily ever after.

But surprise abi bak hai from smaller country. How it will happen ? answer is " Sir G kal"
P.S
I am sick of this BS. Indian news are same like their never ending dramas with no content n all BS with rohna dohna :hang3:

Now that Indians have realized their real worth in terms of military capabilities, all their previous connotations and diplomatic stands (which were based on wrongly previewed Indian military might) must go through a correction course. In other words, if Indians refuse to come in terms with reality despite some spanking by Pak military, they would need a little more bitter dose of disciplinary hammering. Indians might now be conveying their desire not to raise tension any further but the world doesn't move by their desires and wishful thinking. Pakistan must follow a proactive approach now. If they still keep claiming their traditional non-sense of the J&K being their 'integral part' while defying UN resolutions, keep murdering innocent civilians in Indian occupied J&K, or keep exploiting Indus water treaty to block Pakistani waters, Indian as$ then must be kicked real hard. And I am sure both Indian and Pakistani militaries know what does that mean. Pakistanis have to push the current situation in the sub-continent to its logical conclusion by allowing the people of J&K to use the right of self-determination. We cannot wait for another three generation for this dispute get resolved. The time for Indians to use delaying tactics in hopes that the people of occupied J&K would get tired of their freedom struggle and thus give it up has already been over. This is the best time for Pakistan to put military pressure on India (which directly translates into diplomatic pressure on India) by hitting their butts at LoC and in occupied J&K to shed their traditional bigotry and come in touch with reality. And the reality, as shown vividly and repeatedly by the people of Indian occupied J&K, is that J&K was never a part of India.

So my source was right. He told me that Indians want to pick the bodies and Pakistanis are not letting them do this. They were first unofficially contacting PA, now officially through government.

Lolz. I am loving the situation.

We have never officially accepted that we have the donkey. :haha:

By the way, there are many more soldiers in our custody. Indian problem is that they don't know who is dead and who is in custody. Because Pakistan is not releasing any details and not letting them pick the dead bodies.

A dumbfcuk has released Chohans detail on media, otherwise, Indians wouldn't have known about him. :taz:

This is hard to believe. India might have contacted for the soldier's release and not for deescalation.
