Baloch separatist leader and head of the Balochistan Liberation Army Nawabzada Hyrbyair Marri is present in New Delhi, India confirmed on Thursday.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup confirming Marri’s presence in India, said, “India has always been home to the persecuted people from all over the world.”

Indian newspaper, The Hindu, had reported that New Delhi-based Balaach Pardili, a representative of the Hyrbyair Marri-led Baloch Liberation Front/Free Balochistan Movement, has begun campaigning for the freedom of Balochistan from Pakistan.

Marri who has been living in London confirmed to The Hindu that Pardili has been assigned the task of representing him in public events in India.

“We deserve India’s support as India is the largest democracy and we believe India must shoulder the responsibility of upholding the tradition of democracy and human rights in the South Asian region,” Marri said.

Pardili, who made a public appearance on October 4 under the banner of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena (BSKS), told the newspaper that he is ready to campaign under the banner of BSKS for separation of Balochistan from Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan said the presence of Pardili in Delhi proves India is fomenting trouble in Balochistan.

According to the report, a Pakistani diplomatic source said that in response, Pakistan might take up issues in India’s northeastern region.

Further, in July this year, the Balochistan government stepped up informal efforts to reach out to an estranged Baloch leader living in self-exile. A delegation comprising two influential tribal chieftains met’ with Khan of Kalat Prince Agha Mir Suleman Dawood. Prince Suleman, the 35th leader of the defunct Kalat royal family and the grandson of Beglar Begi Mir Ahmed Yar Khan, has been living in self-exile in London since the killing of Jamhoori Wattan Party chief Nawab Akbar Bugti in a military operation in 2006.

Balochistan has been wrecked by a bloody insurgency since 2004, which became bloodier since the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti in 2006. Baloch leaders living in self-exile, Hyrbyair Marri and Brahamdagh Bugti, have been blamed for fueling the insurgency from abroad.

However, last month self-exiled Baloch Republican Army (BRA) leader Brahumdagh Bugti agreed to hold talks with the government on the Balochistan issue, hinting at the possibility of withdrawing demands of separation — provided that was what the people in the province wanted.

In August this year, the government decided to approach five countries and the United Nations to seek extradition of top Baloch insurgents accused of fomenting unrest in Balochistan which has been in the throes of a low-profile separatist insurgency since 2006.

“We are taking up the issue of Baloch insurgents with five countries (India, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Iran and Afghanistan),” said a top security official, who did not want to be named. Dr Allah Nazar, Hyrbyair Marri, Brahumdagh Bugti, Javed Mengal
and some other wanted insurgents are commanding their fighters in the province, he added.

Hyrbyair, the head of the BLA, has been living in self-exile in the United Kingdom, where he has been granted political asylum. The BLA has been responsible for most violence in Balochistan.

During the 70th United Nations General Assembly meeting earlier this month, Pakistan handed over three dossiers to the UN secretary general, cataloguing what officials in Islamabad say is ‘irrefutable’ evidence of India’s involvement in fomenting terrorism and instability in their country.

The dossiers included details of Indian interference and support for terrorism in Balochistan and Karachi, as well as its security and intelligence agencies’ link with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), revealed Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN Bilal Ahmad.

Can you please edit the article with the fact that Marri is in Britain and not in India. Your source edited the news too, as well as all other news source reporting the same has edited it to say that Balaach Pardili and not Marri was confirmed as residing in India.

Worse for India as it's already blamed for the unrest and now they have a direct link with this guy.

Anyway,he can be living on Mars for all I care as long as the army keep killing the last few rats.
well.. check the information about Marri again. He is not in India but in Britain, the country whose flag you have on your account.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I always wondered from where Pakistanis pull this 700000 figure..

O bhai,Kashmir barely contains 1/5th of total Indian Army, even that has to do more than China than Pakistan or Terrorism.CRPF and BSF are more than capable to deal with these threats.but as both China and Pakistan occupied portion of Kashmir and in previous times, most of the major war had an offensive against Kashmir,India is bound to post such a massive force.

you want to know what is Indian Deployment in Kashmir??

on 2012,J&K Police had 76,980 personnel.

In 2007, then-Northern Army commander, Lieutenant-General H.S. Panag, said a total of 3,37,000 troops were present in the State, about a third of these committed to counter-terrorism.Post 2011,around 25% reduction was performed, which means around 2,10,000 soldiers are present right now,of which some 1/3 performs Counter Terrorism.Don't forget,Kashmir houses 3 Corps(XIV,XV,XVI) along with some independent Divisons on rotation basis, which has nothing to do with Terrorism.these were posted in Kashmir all along.

on 2012,CRPF had 60 battalions posted in Kashmir, which reduced 18 battalions from 2010,so you can assume by 2015,it was reduced further.

I wonder from where this mythical 700000 figure came.
This figure is at the height of Kashmiri uprising. Obviously 2012 figures would not be the same. Nobody cares what Indian General breakdown of figures is. If Indian Army was that confident about Kashmir situation then they would have let international journalist do their work freely in last two decades.

How come there would be civilian casualties when there are 1-1.5 were taken out of complete area before the start of operation ?

Àrmy casualties stood around 360 as of today.

Media has been given access in to N.Waziristan for atleast 12-14 times both International and local print as well electronic media.

Perhaps if you keep yourself abreast with the regular news, you would have known all such things ?

By the way "Bollywood" movies too didn`t have pr today any other stories than making movies against Pakistan. Cry you indian just cry over Pak all the time.

Govt in talks with Harbiyar, Ghazan Mari

ISLAMABAD: In a major development, the government has contacted Baloch leaders Harbiyar Mari and Ghazan Mari, presently self-exiled in London, to negotiate terms which can lead to both leaders give up their armed struggle and return to Pakistan to resume their public life.

The News learnt on authority that both the leaders had been in touch — directly and indirectly — with the government for many months.

The only issue that has stalled the process leading to a formal dialogue is the formation of a high-powered delegation with which the exiled Baloch leaders want to negotiate.

They want the delegation to be not only sufficiently powerful, but also have strong representation from the federal government and backing from the armed forces. They are least interested in Jirga comprising Balochistan government members or the CM Dr Malik, which means they want to talk to authorities from the federation, an official in touch with the leaders confided to The News.

Another key demand reportedly made by the two Baloch leaders is the withdrawal of all cases registered against them in Balochistan.

They have also sought permission to return and take full charge of their erstwhile estates as held by them before the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti. In other words, they want full restoration of their status and powers as tribal heads.

One of the factors worrying the government in case it entertains these demands is to analyse and judge how such a rapprochement would impinge the morale and status of forces and personalities who stood by government in its fight against militancy in the province.

The new arrangement, if it is allowed to go ahead, threatens their existing status and casts a shadow on any role they can play in a future realignment of political chessboard in the province.

Sources confide to The News that the government is in a visible state of confusion, as it wants to win both the estranged Baloch leaders without necessarily alienating those who have provided the government and the state of Pakistan with much-needed support in difficult times.

As the situation stands, the eldest brother of Harbiyar is already in Pakistan and is enjoying full paraphernalia of a tribal chief.

On young brother’s return to Pakistan, London-based brothers are not in a mood to accept his leadership in Mari tribe.

It is worth mentioning that in the absence of Mari brothers’ absence from Pakistan, Dr Allah Nazar had strengthened his command on Baloch youths and Harbiyar had serious differences with him.

Now Allah Nazar is not present on ground and Harbiyar wants to fill the gap as soon as possible and strengthen his position on ground. There are different reports about Dr Allah Nazar but the fact is that there is no trace of him in Balochistan nor he has been in touch with any rebels since July.

The Khan of Qalat and Brahamdagh Bugti are already in touch with the government and have expressed their willingness to come back to Pakistan on certain conditions. One of them is to withdraw murder case against Khan of Qalat in Rawalpindi.

A source that is in touch with all these leaders told this correspondent that besides local circumstances in the respective tribes of these leaders international atmosphere is not as helpful for these leaders as it had been a few years back.

He said these leaders, especially the Khan of Qalat, couldn’t muster international support, as he and his other friends were expecting.

Then they are not used to live in western cities in small apartments and even servants are not available to them. In Pakistan, they had their armies and servants to take care of them.—Published in The News

Chaghi: The Frontier Corps (FC) recovered huge cache of arms and explosives buried under ground today.

Spokesman of FC said that the paramilitary forces conducted operation in Bramcha area of district Chaghi in Balochistan. During operation weapons and explosives hidden by digging cavern in the earth were recovered.

The recovered weapons included 10 SMGs, 13 rockets, thousands of bullets and explosives which were taken into custody by the security personnel.

FC spokesman said that the hidden weapons were being used for terror activities in the province, but timely action of paramilitary troops foiled the bid. He said that the militants who have concealed weapons would also be traced and brought to book.

Political asylum should be given to anyone persecuted. However, those persecuted should not use Indian soil to create trouble in other countries. India restricts the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Govt-in-Exile from issuing political statements. The same principle should apply.
