How else do you explain the difference in the reaction of Pakistanis when India kills Pakistani smuggler and Iran kills Pakistani smugglers/Saudi Arabia beheads Pakistani smugglers?

Two different cases, the reaction is according to the circumstances of the event. Any smugglers in Saudi Arabia are properly tried and convicted before they are punished.

Killing normal people and calling them smugglers is unwarranted and pathetic. Let the facts be established BEFORE making judgements. Indian security forces have a record of fake encounters and shooting people for fun and claiming them to be 'smugglers'. Last time they shot dead an old lady who inadvertently crossed over into India.

There will not be a neutral and independent verification in this case. If the news appears on international media they will also quote India sources. Independent verification is not possible.

There was a case in 2011 where Pakistan forces shot some 5 innocent people including two women and later termed them as terrorists..Even the Doctor who testified against the Pakistani army version of the events was murdered by unknown persons. Does that make every terrorist killed by Pakistan since then suspect ? Dont use over generalizations to prop up your biased views..

I don't know what kind of normal people walk around with guns and 36 Kg of Heroine at one of the worlds most heavily patrolled international borders. Unfortunately its not the "norm" in India, not the drugs or the guns. And please keep your bias against Indian armed forces out of this, your baseless allegations doesn't hold any value.

India is the one that has put up the fence, India is the one that has lighted up the whole border, there must be a reason. In this year(just 22 days so far) alone 5 smugglers have been shot dead at the border. If Pakistan thinks that India is illegally killing "innocent" "normal" Pakistani civilians, it should lodge a complain with the UN or something.

AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead three Pakistani smugglers and recovered 36 kilogram of heroin valued at around Rs 180 crore in two separate incidents on Indo-Pak international border in Punjab on Tuesday.

In both the incidents Pak smugglers opened fire upon BSF troops.

BSF Inspector General, Frontier, AK Tomar informed that BSF had recovered 2 Pistols, 3 Magazines 17 rounds of ammunition and 1 Pak mobile phone with Pak SIM card besides 36 packets of heroin in Amritsar and Ferozpur sectors. During current year BSF had shot dead a total of 5 Pakistani smugglers and recovered a 62 kilogram heroin.

In Amritsar, Tomar informed BSF troops deployed in the area of Border Out Post (BOP) Naushera Dhalla observed suspicious movement near border fence and challenged the intruders. "On hearing the burst fired upon them , our troops also fired on them to check their further misadventure" said he adding that following gun fire three Pak smugglers were shot dead.

During search operation BSF recovered 20 kilogram narcotics and ammunition added he. In another incident in Ferozpur sector he informed that similar suspicious movement was observed in the area of BOP Kassoke.

"Visibility was very poor due to thick fog, BSF sentry challenged the miscreants but they didn't stop advance movement and instead fired at BSF following which our troops also retaliated and fired 4 rounds forcing them to flee back to Pakistan" he said adding that BSF recovered 16 kilogram heroin and ammunition during the search operation that followed the gun battle. He informed that they would send photographs of killed smugglers to Paksitan Rangers and would ask them to receive their bodies.

"In past incidents, Pak Rangers had never claimed body of any smuggler except in one incident," said Tomar.

So who knows PAkistan will probably not accept the body again, and few more unmarked graves in India.

I am not saying that they have made up stories. I would rather wait for more news to come through before i make up my mind. No news has been reported in any other press except indian press, who would defend BSF even if they have killed 3 innocent Pakistanis.

Wait so do we have to wait for independent verification of every terrorist that PA kills, they could be innocents too right? Or is it applicable only to Indian security forces?

Sorry to tell you, but the world doesn't care for your perspective.

Pakistan is the hub of opiate trade ( thanks to its neighbor) and is fighting a losing battle against a raging heroine addiction. So I don't know why is it so hard for you to believe that few Pakistanis were trying to smuggle heroine into India, and got killed while doing that. Its not the first time and surely not the last.
