India-China border talks put off after row over Dalai Lama

China has never been in a stronger position vis a vis India than it is today, not since the founding of the PRC.

Never in the past 50 years, has China had an economy and military spending that is FOUR times larger than India's. But today it is.

It is India who keeps pushing for a "border mechanism", to prevent border incursions from escalating into full-blown conflicts.

We don't need it, just like we don't need a water treaty on the Brahmaputra because we hold the cards.

If India wants to cancel border talks, then it is their own loss and no one else's. You don't see us crying about border incursions every day, that is what the Indians do.

Just like in 1962, it is up to India to initiate the war.

You backstabbed us in 1959 by hosting our largest separatist group, and then in 1962 with the Forward Policy. You asked for a beating and you got one, with the added bonus that China also gave nuclear weapons to Pakistan as the icing on the cake.

Try another Forward Policy if you have the balls to do so, now that the gap between China and India has increased to such enormous levels.

firstly it is not 1962 anymore welcome to 2011. secondly dalai lama & co were given asylum by Indian govt. Indian govt never allowed anti china movements from indian soil. that old man mostly attend religious functions. now he do not even ask for tibet's freedom anymore, he only ask for rights of Tibetan ppl. plus indian govt do not endorse his any views, if this simple thing do not get into china's head then that is china's problem we can't do anything abt it.
