In pure logic Pakistan did not exisit at the time of British. It was British India. Then we were allied in the western camp where we remain today. Releation with China were opened at the height of our releations with west and we made clear of our "independent policy" intentions.

We have strategic releation with the West as well as the Chinese. We benfit form both sides. Soon we are gonna trade access rights to AQ Khan for US assistance in nuclear technology.
