I'd say Brazil's future is more stable than any of the BRICs. It's a relatively secure nation with no outstanding territorial disputes, and its relations with its neighbors seem more good than bad, including with the US. It doesn't have the same obligations that other countries in more volatile regions have as well.
Basically its candle might not be as bright as India's or China's, but it seems better sheltered from harsh winds.
