India behind terrorist attacks - Pak Foreign Minister

IMHO despite denials and clarifications, there is really little difference between AT, TTP and even outfits like LeT and Jaish.

I really liked musharraf's comment when he was talking about the military equipment aid to Pakistan by US. He said that the aid is used to equip an army which then goes and fights the terrorists. Later the same units are redeployed at eastern border. Obviously the same equipment also gets redeployed with them. So asking for that equipment to be not used against india is foolish at best.

The same logic applies here.. These are terrorists and are united in methodology and to some extent ideology. Its foolish to think that there is not cross pollination and support. Saying TTP is weak and AT is not but AT will not support TTP and hence TTP is too weak to carry out attacks is fooling oneself..

Pakistan is claiming links between TTP and RAW. The Answer to Pakistan's problems lies in Afghanistan and we need to force our way upon anyone who dares to attack us in this manner.

India behind terrorist attacks, says Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan was not involved in Mumbai terror attacks.

However, Islamabad has substantial evidence to prove India’s involvement in terror activities in the country.

In an interview with an Arab television, Mr Qureshi said the international community supported Pakistan’s stand that it was not involved in the Mumbai attacks.

‘Now it has been admitted worldwide that Pakistan was above question with regard to the Mumbai terror incident,’ the foreign minister said.

He reiterated that there was concrete evidence to prove New Delhi’s hand in terror activities in Pakistan.

Ha this is the same guy who said india never wanted hafeez saeed right..!!!! The guys is a joke..!!! The way he talks gives an impression that he is the most righteoius person in the world..!! But the facts and the actions which later contradicts his statements makes him look like a toothless tiger..!!!!

Once the war is concluded from Pakistan, Pak Army should step into Afghanistan. Not to hold territory but to deliver lethal blows to Indian assets. I think Pakistan's foreign policy should be clear, India cannot be tolerated in Afghanistan and no option of refusal can be given to Afghanistan.

There are simply no single Indian assets in Afghanistan Asim. They are only jointly held assets.By your proposal you would also be attacking the assets of Iran,Uzbegs and Russia, may be your friend Chinese they are not so enamoured with the taliban

I think instead of going into Afghanistan, there's a need for covert attacks on indian terror infrastructure/facilities/network and taking those out. I am sure ISI already has them pointed out a great deal.

Well how can you deciede on the forgien policy of a sovergien country???? If you ever sent in troops to afghanistan.. it will be a war between the world and you..!!! just like what happend to the american faviourate Saddam Hussein..!!!! So i think your country wont do that directly may be yes using your assets in taliban or the GOOD TALIBAN as you might suggest..!!!!

.By the way AM india's monkey trap doctrine seems to work from the Indian policy planner point of view
Supporting terrorism in Pakistan indeed seems to be working from the Indian policy planners POV, as it did in East Pakistan.

This is what he said:

"''You will be surprised that they made no demand (for the arrest of Saeed). They did not even mention Hafiz Saeed in the entire talks," Qureshi told reporters in his hometown of Multan."

I see nothing to laugh about here nor anything wrong with his statement.

You already have enough assets which are getting toxic no need for us to indulge in it .The lessons from the LTTE showed it simply isn't worth it.By the way AM whatever the GOI it never thought of its people as cannon fodder

Since we would be attacking those who assist the TTP and Baluch terrorists, the Chinese would be glad, since, as you pointed out, they have no lost for the TTP - which has been sheltering Chinese militants and attacking Chinese interests in Pakistan.

You already have enough assets which are getting toxic no need for us to indulge in it .

Again, TTP was never created, or supported in anyway by GoP or the army or the ISI. That's simply a misconception. In other words, to say that they were our assets at one time is ignorant.

The TTP was never a Pakistani asset, and the toxicity is being supported by India, so India is playing a role. And I fail to see what your last sentence is about.

Attacking the TTP will automatically rope in the Afghan Taliban into the slugfest along with LeT.The social conditions are ideal for a peoples war in the garb of communalism.By the TTP and Afghan Taliban the leader differs but the base cadre is all the same .It don't see much difference between them

The statements made by an unstable democracy with no clear policy and a power centre vs the statements made by a stable government of a stable country with a proven stable system and democracy,, which one would the world believe..!!! It will take long time for you guys to make the world believe of what ever you rant if at all it is true..!!!!

India had a stable democracy and all of that when it was supporting East Pakistani and LTTE terrorists as well ....

The US had a stable democracy when it supported genocidal regimes and regimes that committed large scale atrocities in Latin America.

Being a stable democracy and the rest of it does not preclude support for terror and the destabilization of other nations, as the history of both the US and India shows us.

TTP was a mutation of another asset which was strategic as far as your aims are concerned. As for my last sentence you must be able to comprehend it .It is/will be the source of all your woes

RAW’s terror brotherhood strikes Lahore again

—Over 45 killed in rattling serial blasts

Bureau Report

LAHORE—RAW’s terror brotherhood network carried out yet another series of suicide blasts in the provincial metropolis and heart of the country through hired suicide bombers from their basis in Afghanistan. RAW’s terror brotherhood has a history of being involved in such terror operations not only in Pakistan but also conducting attacks on Pakistani citizens in Afghanistan.

Fortyfive people were killed and 95 others injured in twin suicide blasts near RA Bazaar bus terminal here on Friday. Two suicide bombers reached their targets on foot and blew themselves up near buses 15-20 seconds apart. Rescuers and volunteers started operation at the site immediately after the blasts and shifted the injured and the dead to Fauji Foundation Hospital, CMH, Jinnah Hospital, General Hospital and Services Hospital. The remains of suicide bombers were sent to forensic laboratories for tests.

“Police have found some solid technical evidence from the spot which will help in investigation,” IGP Tariq Salim Dogar told the media. He said such solid evidence has not been found from any blast site in the past. Five army men were also among the dead, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said, adding, bodies of both attackers had been found who looked like tribal men.

He added the attackers had arrived on foot but another report said they were riding a motorcycle and attacked a bus of security forces.

The minister ruled out a security lapse, saying the government had taken all possible measures for security. The Law Minister urged the media and the masses to remain calm and help the government eliminate terrorism from the country. To a question, he rejected a claim of the banned terrorist organisation TTP about the presence of 3,000 suicide attackers in Punjab and added that people should not believe in such rumors. He said no one had been arrested from the spot.

As many as five soldiers have been included among those the victims of the twin blasts occurred in RA Bazar of Lahore on Friday.According to Military sources here, 10 other soldiers are also included among those who sustained injuries in the blast and have been shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

Suicide bombers targeting the Pakistani military killed at least 45 people in Lahore on Friday, officials said, in a challenge to government assertions that crackdowns have weakened Taliban insurgents.

Enough is enough.
