that said, what India is doing via Afghanistan and getting away with it cant be replicated by us. we dont have political clout and support in the west and its on the contrary.. we see Americans breaking their deal time and again and refusing to pay us over Haqqani network blame gaming despite being shown around and given ground and areal tours of the Waziristan.
their senators and law makers are openly talking about breaking Pakistan through use of insurgency like the Syrian model so us doing anything to India will only cause more storm against us.
solution is in prevention in the home ground and aggressive diplomacy to gain support internationally..what we can do is strike at the suspected training camps and houses inside Afghanistan that are being used against Pakistan and continue to capture Indian high ranking RAW operatives... that will be a much better reply rather than causing terrorism inside India and risking a war... that will be in fact playing into Indian hands by giving them an excuse to bring their forces to the borders and cause 2008 crises . they know well a sizeable part of our military is deployed along Afghanistan fighting Taliban and another chunk is being prepared to protect CPEC route which is yet another attractive target for them.
