Kanyakumari, which lies in the Southern most tip of Peninsular India, is famous for its majestic hills, virgin beaches, rivers, Temples and Churches. As this is termed as the tip of India, Kanyakumari is the meeting place of three seas namely Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a place in Kanyakumari which attracts large number of tourists.

Thiruvalluvar statue is built in memory of Thiruvalluvar,a celebrated Tamil poet who wrote the "Thirukkural"(a classic of couplets) .The pedestal of the statue is of 38 feet height and the statue over it is 95 feet tall with a grand total of 133 feet for the entire sculpture.
