Thanks for the pictures guys, great pics.

I have been to India once in 2005; I went to Delhi. Delhi didn't seem too different from Lahore. But one thing I should say is that it was a little more crowded and dirty. Don't take this the wrong way, but I felt that the city did smell very bad in many places. Public places were pretty nasty smelling in comparison to Pakistani cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad (well Islamabad is way ahead even in Pak). I think the problem there was that a lot of people seemed to be pissing on the sidewalks and public places. No offence, this was just my observation.

I wonder how Mumbai and other cities are in comparison to Delhi? Maybe some Indian members can shed some light on that.

Mumbai is even worse..!!! You cant take a step without stepping on ****..!!! ;) But yes that is ofcourse near the railway tracks. Rest is ok, but still crowded. But that is the beauty of mumbai, at first i didnt like it.. but now i miss it.

And yes Delhi have improved a lot recent years. Its now i guess among one of the cleanest cities in India. But yes economic development once it gets evenly distributed and reaches the lower level, one of the benefit we derive would be the civic sense among all classes of people;)

Chokhi Dhani resort, Jaipur. Just an amazing place.

Appam
Appam, another popular Kerala food, is a soft pancake made from toddy fermented rice batter, with a soft spongy center and is laced with crispy edges. Appam is generally eaten with either vegetable or chicken or mutton stew, thoroughly mellowed with thick coconut milk and garnished with curry leaves.
