"India Beat All Odds In Coronavirus Fight," Says PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said despite dire predictions, India beat all odds in the global fight against the coronavirus. "Last year, in February-March, a lot of experts had said the India will be the worst-affected country, there will be tsunami of cases. They predicted 2 million deaths in the country. But India moved ahead with a proactive public participation," PM Modi said, addressing the World Economic Forum's Davos Dialogue. "Today, India is among countries that have succeeded in saving the maximum lives. The country, which comprises of 18% of the world's population, has saved the world from disaster by bringing the situation under control."

Daily public deaths reported 5000, estimated frm creamation(50-100,000/10-20x higher)

So india has already reached 2 million deaths and is climbing fast
End estimate will be 10-20million deaths till november

I haven't seen a country's PM more shameless than this guy.. he even has the audacity to keep downplaying the calamity that has befallen India and it's every Indian's fault he behaves this way because they never hold him accountable. Instead they're like "aww everyone blaming PM Modi, no fair sir jeee..".

modi is right. odds were that india would have thousands dead from covid19 but india successfully beat those odds by having hundreds of thousands dead from covid19 with the added achievement of running out of oxygen tanks & hospital beds on top of the million dead! Allah protect us from such achievements... 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

BJP passes political resolution Lauding Modi's Covid-19 response

National Vice President Raman Singh said, apart from coping with the economic slump that happened globally during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were concerns whether India could cope with the challenge given the poor health infrastructure. (ANI PHOTO).

The BJP national officer bearers meet on Sunday passed a resolution praising the Union government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, effective management despite the economic downturn and in ensuring the passage of the farm laws that intended to usher in broad reforms including improving remuneration farmers get for their produce.

National Vice President Raman Singh said, apart from coping with the economic slump and slowdown of the MSME sector that happened globally during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were concerns whether India could cope with the challenge given the poor health infrastructure.

“But PM Modi within 48 hours of the lockdown, announced a package to provide food and amenities to the poor. All arrangements were made to provide medical facilities. He had said his government is dedicated to the poor in 2014,” Singh said.

The political resolution also took note of the Bihar assembly elections where the BJP-led NDA returned to power. “The outcome of the Bihar elections saw people refusing to give a chance to those with negative thinking. In Kashmir, people have shown faith in democracy. Upcoming Elections were discussed and the support that the BJP is getting, in West Bengal shows people are fed up. In Assam, the government is hopeful of winning with a mandate,” Singh said.

Referring to Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Singh said the party organisation has been strengthened. “In this meeting, the PM and party president were thanked for giving the party a new direction,” he said.

A resolution on Atmanirbhar Bharat is also expected.
